Today we find a uniquely peaceful beach in Kuta and watch Airplanes land (Hidden Gem). We also find a surf megastore and visit Jamie Oliver. Overall, a magnificent day.

I ate at the Jamie Oliver restaurant in Kuta a few years back, think it was called Jamie Oliver Italian back then. Best meal I have ever eaten in Bali. Amazing service and the food was all delicious. I had light breakfast, no lunch and had a full meal, entrée, main and dessert. Yummo

I stayed at the Hard Rock last Xmas in kuta , the beach and the water was like a tip it was putrid , is it better this time of the year. We went to Jamie Oliver's it was good just across the Road is a Italian Restaurant it was magic

Xmas time is always problematic. Consider, by then, it hasn't rained for 6 months and those first rains push a lot of rubbish into the ocean. This time of year, it is pristine.

Wow quiet there - we were there the year before COVID and would have been 1000 people around the pool with a mad euro DJ - great vibes and beautiful people to be seen!

Hi. Thanks heaps. We brought helmets from home. The ones here are like icecream containers. All our hotels are available on Agoda or Booking.com. BUT, I usually find them on google maps first.
