To all you new officers out there. Your FTOs don't give a shit about all the special doodads, tacticool accessories, newest and best this or that. Just concentrate on learning/doing the job, be safe, and go home after every shift. Your brain is the best "accessory" you have.

I'd say a holster like this is something to consider, especially for police officers. Unlike the 20 extra pouches for useless crap I see a bunch of young ones running around with.

Aight. I been teasing you but I admit this vid is much better than previous ones. Great little explaination of the holster feature, but not the lvl 3 retention everyone read already. Good choices. Also now I know that belt has clasps for your cuffs, still weird to wear 2 cuffs at the range, but not as bad as I feared. :p I tease in love. Keep working on it bud, you'll find your groove.

Safariland holsters index off the ejection port Therefore the gun will fit, just a bit “jiggly” May I recommend the Surefire master fire

IMO the best thing about an optic hood is not setting off motion sensor on an optic that has one. Longer battery life (:

Not sure what you mean? If your holster is attached to you and you're walking or you so much as jiggle - the slightest movement will activate the shake-awake feature and power on your optic. The hood just prevents dust or anything else from falling into the viewing window of the optic

7TS/7X series is not durable at all. They still have major cracking issues. Go to the 6000 series.

If you’re still running the 7000 series from Safariland, change it to a 6000 series or consider the Rapid force from alien gear. Do you’re research and you’ll find out why

It’s supposed to be a barrier that stops someone from getting to the buttons. I always remove it though, because it obstructs my draw, and the vest will push down on it. I’ve seen some people with that piece deformed, permanently obstructing a proper draw, just because the vest pushed it down too long.

Yeah, but it is way too expensive, especially if you run multiple different handguns. G code is much more affordable and is just as ridgid as safari land.

I’m pretty sure you can rock a suppressor but it’s just not practical, makes it slower to draw out. That’s why lots of cops rock ear plugs.

@@TommyTombstone I don't open carry but have a serpa for my battle belt it works for that application considereding I just have a belt for shtf scenarios, and a custom holster can have any level of retention and still be quality, safari land I just ugly in my own personal opinion I get if you have some weird light setup on your pistol tho but I just use a tlr1hl and call it a day so i have more options than others who dont

Said nobody ever. Are you familiar with what happens to a semi auto pistol if the slide is pushed back 1/8"? Gun won't fire. Having the flashlight stick out past the end of the barrel is one way to prevent that.
