The best hybrid for the knights is Cent right now. He still has awesome mix-ups with the highest stamina(160) with certain perks(Endurance) he can mix-up longer than anyone. Has a great parry counter which can get wall splats & is one of the few characters that can still stamina punish. With his Bounty Hunter/Haymaker/Pugio/Phalanx feats he is both team fighter & ganker in 4v4s. With the LB rework he no longer is the parry beast. Even though his light parries remained the same. His heavy parries took a down fall with impaling riposte no longer being guaranteed and light riposte no longer stunning. Yes he can chain his 2nd light to follow-up with heavy finishers. Now his zone attack is the only good heavy parry since it’s unblockable with hyper armor & can go into his chain. The downside is it can be parried.

Gonna be honest, I don't really agree with much of this list and I'll explain why starting with the Knights. For the Knights: LB is objectively the worst hybrid currently and is one of the worst characters in the game right now(roughly bottom 6 overall). Starting with Gryphon, he has a superior duel potential having far better mix up potential via his dodge forward bash and dodge forward light along with his mid chain bash guaranteeing more damage. LB's UB is overall mid as its the 3rd hit in his chain and it eats far to much stamina to reach it to make it really worth it. Then when you compare their team fight potential its no contest. Gryphon shits on LBs team fight potential with a vastly superior moveset and feats that are actually good. LB's bomb feats are pretty much mid and really only worth using to clear the minion lane. The damage is fine but they are just in in general far to reactable to make them worth using. Where as Gryphon has some of the best feats in the game allowing you to completely negate alot of the best feats currently. Next is Cent. Cent is better than both LB and Gryphon with duel potential and ganking. Cent is one of the better duelists in general right now with some of the strongest parry punishes in the game, especially when you include feats and tight spaces. Gryphon does have superior team fight potential than Cent but LB's is very much inferior to Cents due to his ability to "pin" and disrupt via his chain chargeable bash. So it really comes down to what you are looking for. If you're looking for a duelist, go Cent. If you're looking for a team fighter go Gryphon. I'd argue that overall Gryphon is the best choice as he has strong team fights but isn't a slouch in duels along with best feats among the 3. For the Vikings: Its undoubtedly Valk, no contest. Valk stomps on HL when it comes to duels and team fights. HL doesn't really have much going for him currently, primarily his issue being that he's absurdly slow so he has a hard time keeping up with the rest of the team and his offensive stance gets shut down by undodgeables, which a large portion of the cast has(and an even larger portion of the "meta" cast as well). Outside of having some good match ups HL is a horrible duelist with most of his offense being entirely to reactable and he still doesn't even get a heavy off of GB. Most of Valk's offense is reactable but she makes up for it by having a drastically stronger defense. Having access to CC(something you forgot to mention) and a superior block style deflect giving her multiple options to handle attacks. And then combine that with her All guard that is very strong and it makes her kit so much better than HL and in general makes her one of the better characters in the game. And feat wise outside of Spear storm Valk takes it as well as she has access to furry/flask which is more versatile than spear storm. For the Samurai: It really is a toss up here and solely depends on what you're wanting. You have Nobu who's one of the best team fighters in the game currently but is a horrible duelist. Then you have Kyoshin who's not bad at anything but also not super strong either. Musha is mid in general though and doesn't have much going for him. For the Wu Lin: You're right, objectively Shaolin is the best hybrid but is also one of the best characters in the game no matter the game mode. For the Outlanders: I can tell you that Ocelotl is strong in duels and decent in 4s but he is not the best of the group and even out of the Outlanders he is far from the best ganker. TBH Ocelotl is a really shit ganker, so why he's called a ganker is beyond me. Anyways moving on. As for the best character it really is simple, its Afeera. Afeera is pretty much strong in every game mode and in every situation. The only argument that could be made is that Medjay is better in 4s and while that is true, Afeera is still VERY strong in 4s. And while Medjay is arguably the best 4s character currently, Afeera is drastically better in 1s and in 2s having an overstuffed kit.

I think from experience playing afeera is simply the best. She has dodge recoveries, great hitboxes, bash mixups in chain, and a feintable bash from neutral plus crushing counters. You can also target swap her bash follow ups in 4v4s to get an instant unblockable basically. Medjay is still really good but in a bore balanced state now and especially after his rework he’ll be a very balanced character that does what he needs to do well. Ocelotl is my main and as someone who’s played him and played against him a lot he has top tier ganking potential and top tier chain offense but his neutral is simply lacking bc his bash is so slow. Lights will get blocked 9 times out of 10 and they’ll have to make a read on your heavies to see if you’ll feint or let it fly to get into your chain but his bash you can simply react to. Idk why but it’s pretty easy. His zone is armored tho and it’s also feintable with a good hitbox so that does help. Also he should’ve 100% been a bleed hero/ assassin but it’s fine.

Imma have to disagree with the knights man. The better options are Def Cent and Griffon rn
