Hey #GGSquad, How are you? Welcome to the second part of Kolhapur Food Video. I am so excited to show you all the yummy foods I tried in this city of Maharashtra. We have tried everything from Maharashtrian delicacies like Thaalipeeth, Pithala Bhakri & mutton thali to local's favourites Loni Dosa, ice cream and snacks. Davangere is a city in Karnataka and Benne(makkhan) dosa is a speciality of this city. You must try benne dosa in Davangere.

Thanks for visiting Kolhapur and sharing such famous places which is visited by every vloggers but beyond that there are many such places where you can enjoy these same dishes but more a bit delicious to it. I'm from Kolhapur, so hope still many food places may be pending,you can go through. Enjoy Kolhapur and in city,Panhala fort our ancestral place and enjoy few Golas and Chaat down at Teen Darwaza.

Thanks for showcasing Kolhapur. I was there a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't find any informative food vlog on Kolhapur. Will surely try your recommendations the next time I'm there 😊 I asked friends who are from Kolahpur and I got recommendations for Ma..Ma masoor and veg thali at Mahaveer Jain khanaval. I was only able to try Phadtar Misal as we just halted there enroute to Mumbai. It's interesting to know how cuisines change with region. The name Dawangiri is probably derived from Davangere which is a city in Karnataka. Here you get Benne Dose which looks very similar. Benne means butter and the potato does not have turmeric. Btw, you also do get puran poli icecream at Khavvaye in Thane.

You should try 7/12 near kini toll plaza nh 4 for it’s authentic mutton thali and its ambience,they serve unlimited rice/jowar bhakris and tambda,pandhra rassa in thalis,their indrayani rice is the the best.
