Picking a tent always leaves me feeling like I missed something! The last one I got was a Big Agnes Copper Spur. I got the foot print also. It's a 3 season tent... very light and breezy. My prior tents were by REI and Cannondale and they were 4 season tents. I've carried these tents on over 8,600 miles of bicycle touring and a few minor car trips. The Cannondale was used down to 19° and up to about 100° between Key West, FL and the Catskill Mountains and everywhere in between. On the low temperature end it was probably as comfortable as I could get with a 3 season bag and without artificial heat. On the high end it was too hot--not enough air flow. It was good in the wind, rain, and snow. The REI tent was mostly used in moderate temperatures in NY, CO, MT, WY, ID, and WA. The Copper Spur was used in NY, PA, OH and MD in August/September. It is a nice tent and was comfortable for the season. It will be used on my next bicycle trip too... need another 1,400 miles to hit my 10,000 mile goal! On another note, going from a sleeping pad to a Thermarest air mattress was a game changer... I can sleep all night now!

I feel the same way with camping gear. I like the thermorest sleeping pad, but it’s like sleeping on a bag of chips. If you move a lot, damn thing will wake you up lol.

Very good scenery! I bought Floating Cloud 2. I didn’t choose MSR because of low budget, but it’s also very good, 80%.
