great review! knowing those little things about a bag makes all the difference. the tabs on the blue bag flipping up will make the difference in purchasing decisions for me! that is something that would drive me insane with pure annoyance. I don't want to deal with it at any price point.

I have the same burgundy APC, and of course you can play with the length of the strap! I have it as a crossbody normally, but sometimes I shorten it and hang it on my shoulder 😊

Have used luxury bags but I also feel their are many grateful mid brands wirh great design function and craftsmanship. I know Polene well and ACP. Good points to review on and the polene is my abs favourite. Been thinking to get in caramel or ataupe color way. Would love to see when you speak and carry the bags personally and not just the bags and your hands. It's more personal and gives us an idea o howf the bags look been carried too. But great video all in all ❤❤

Thank you for this review! I’ve been thinking about getting a Fleuron bag! I used to be obsessed with Polene and unfortunately I have seen many unhappy customers on their instagram. Some haven’t reviewed their packages, others got the wrong item, some have returned their items but haven’t received a refund and a lot more qualms like defective or leather peeling after minimal wear. I feel like right now it would be too risky to purchase but I do know of people who have had no problem with their purchases and love their stuff! I’d love to know your thoughts on if you’d purchase more from Polene and if you had any issues with your ordering process when you originally purchased:)😊

Hi! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I actually got my Polenes a few years ago so I can't really speak to the quality of the bags now. Mine have been amazing. If you don't feel confident buying don't. I highly encourage you to look at Fleuron. I've emailed Fleuron and they're incredibly responsive. I've reached out to Polene to get more information about the brand, they never responded to me. Sooo.... APC and Acte Nation are great alternatives too. It is disappointing Polene is slipping. Hope that was helpful and love to see back on my channel!

I honestly thought it would be the polene bucket bag that would come out first! Its much bigger and can fit more than the other polene! 😅 2/5 was harsh in terms how much u reach for it given that its ur oldest bag on display and now that u have so many newer bags in ur collection- hard to assess i suppose 😂

I was surprised myself. I actually went back to my ratings and was like ok the bucket bag needed a higher rating. Then I'm like no no, I need to be honest with myself. But yes, it's really just because I had so many new bags that I was working on using that I've abandoned it. It's still one of my favorite bags!

Lol no hardware will not scratch, even the hardware on the Hermes Constance and Celine Triomphe scratches like hell after few usage, so for the price of Demillier I feel it’s ok to get scratched at least it’s not so painful for our pockets 😉

I'm surprised my APC hardware has not scratched! Ideally, they all don't scratch. But yes I understand what you're saying 😊

@@SomehowadultingWow do you do anything special with your APC bags (or are they quite new?) I have the grace bag too and the hardware is definitely scratched (but I don't really mind at all, it's not obvious unless you look closely and it's still beautiful imo)

I have seen numerous complaints about the DeMellier hardware discoloring within a few months of usage. Not just scratching...but discoloring and flaking off. I know all hardware scratches, but it is more obvious on some than others. I'm interested in both the Hermes Constance and the Celine Triomphe, but the large polished logo hardware does make me nervous because scratches are the most obvious on polished hardware and these are not "edgy" bags where scratches can be hidden. I have an LV Twist that has a scratched Twist lock, but since it is black and silver and edgy-looking, it hides well. I may have to buy plastic protectors for the Constance and Triomphe!
