It's so refreshing to see someone talking about magical movies as something to encourage as someone who's parents were "Christian" and banned absolutely anything that even remotely smelled like magic. The contrast actually made me tear up T - T

‘Spirited away’ and ‘howl’s moving castle’ are like reset movies for me. When I get overwhelmed by all of the information and programming being thrown at me daily, those two movies always help me reset my mindset and outlook on life and my journey. They help me find my self again, well bring my true self to the forefront.

Yessssss! I prefer to watch children's movies as well. 💃 Adult movies can be really uncomfortable because they focus on the shock factor. 😤😒 Many times I had to turn off a movie because they threw something incredibly disturbing to get your attention.

Colors of the wind is my all time favorite song :) pocahontas actually ends up staying with her tribe at the end. John wanted to stay with her too but needed to go back to get medical attention from a gunshot wound. It’s a must watch until the end! I love the magic of Disney and children’s movies. Still sooo much work still to do. Thank you Mia for just being your absolutely amazing gorgeous self! Seriously all the movies here are the repeats that I watch with my little. Brave, Moana, frozen and coco are the favorites! She sat in my lap and watched Coco to the very end. Mind you she’s one. So sitting for a long period of time is almost nonexistent. Thank you for sharing this. It’s good to know that my feelings about the movies my little watches have been right. I want her to be connected to the mother and understand the true meaning of life. I have a funny feeling she’s going to teach me ALOT about my spiritual path as she gets older and is talking. On Mother’s Day she had her 1st time to be in the grass with no shoes. Seeing her little bare feet connected to Mother Earth was beautiful and the highlight of my Mother’s Day! 💙💙💙 love to all and blessings to anyone who took the time to read a little about my life. 🙏

I've seen so many things coming up on my social media about not supporting Pocahontas and it is so saddening to me. They are saying, which I agree with, that Pocahontas is not historically accurate in that the real person Pocahontas actually received terrible mistreatment and the truth of colonization shouldn't be white-washed. However, I still think this movie has so many great messages without the historically important name and as a child I absolutely loved this movie and dreamed of being Pocahontas. She's so beautiful, strong, and connected spiritually with the Earth in such a powerful way she was truly an inspiring character to me as a kid and even still today.

O my word when you said that songs words i got goos bumps and its so funny that you say that because Pocahontas is my favourite move special as a kid everyone always wanted to be a princess like bell or arial and i was the weird wild child that wanted to be Pocahontas and run through the forest bear feet and let the nature, animals and trees suround me almost as if my inner child told me i need to break free and suround myself with mother nature and as an adult this feeling hasn't gone away i feel my best when i can be outside in nature i use to collect rocks and leaves feathers anything that would catch my eye in nature that felt it stood out i would pick it up and keep it and i still do this its a habbit that i haven't changed as such i might walk on the beach and see a shell and ill keep it as if mother herself gifted it to me 🙏💜 blessed be our mother 🌍🌳

I've been trying to tell people this my entire life and everyone thinks I'm crazy. Rock on, you're awesome. Another really big one for me is Balto and specifically Balto 2: Wolf Quest. Alu running away from home, meeting her Spirit Guide who tells her to listen to her Inner Knowing, "I am shedding light where darkness lies" ... Also Balto has to trust his Spirit Guides to help him find his daughter when she runs away & let her go when she finds her destiny... it's phenomenal.

This is such a great video! I love all the movies you mentioned. I know there's been a few comments about this already but Ghibli movies are really magical and I know you're going to love them. Here's a few examples. My neighbour Tottoro: two little girls become friends with forest spirits Princess Mononoke: the prince of an indigenous tribe goes on a quest to a magical forest in order to lift a curse that has been placed on him Nausicaa and the valley of the wind: in a post-apocalyptic world where nature has been destroyed by wars a Princess helps bring back peace between humans and animals Howl's moving castle: a young girl goes on a journey to find witches and wizards in order to help lift a curse put onto her Princess Kaguya: a bamboo farmer finds a fairy living in a bamboo plant and him and his wife decide to raise her as their daughter. Ponyo: a little fish falls in love with a little boy and decides to become human in order to be with him. It's the toddler version of the little mermaid, but also mentions human made climate change. Spirited away: a little girl works in a bath house for spirits in order to save her parents that have crossed a witch and are held captive. Kiki's delivery service: a witch has come of age so she goes out into the world to find her place and help people with her magic. All of these movies touch me so deeply and I cannot recommend them enough. They are really special.

With the world as it is I had kinda lost touch with how magical storytelling and film can be and can’t believe I never thought of all these codes and messages which are soo important to let people know about! Thank you for these suggestions. I love children’s movies and often watch them for their magic. Brother Bear is a great story about spirit and indigenous culture and our relationship with the animals. Also my cousin directed the How to Train your dragon movies! He is one of the most magical storytellers I have every met! Lilo and Stitch is also one he directed and love how the magic of love conquers all! And being your true self is so important! ❤️💫

I think you'd like Dragon Heart. I remember watching it when I was a kid, and I don't remember much of it, but I remember that the dragon was forced into hiding and they thought he was just a beast but the king knew all along that dragon had ancient wisdom and went to the dragon to help save his son or something. The dragon is incredibly intelligent, wise, and has just enough of a sense of humor and he wants to be this kind earthy protector but the humans have betrayed his trust and that definitely doesn't slip by him. He also had the ability to turn himself invisible and blend in with the environment. If I remember right the CGI on the dragon wasn't even that bad, ESPECIALLY for the era and I resonated so hard with that movie as a little girl that I'd be silently crying by the end and I'd just play the film again over and over. I haven't finished the video so sorry If you mentioned it but if you haven't seen it I HIGHLY recommend Neverending story because the whole premise is about this boy living a mundane life and he literally finds out through the movie that the book is real and magic is real, and by the end of it he's a part of the magic.

Love how I can rewatch some videos as they call to me and I find more things in them I didn’t catch before. With the dragon conversation, have you seen the new “Dragon Rider” movie on Netflix? The book definitely goes deeper into the magical facts, but was my favorite book as a child and was so excited they finally came out with a movie (even if they modernized it a bit, but hey, whatever they need to do to catch the new generations eyes)

I had a " truth" dream about being in a castle room with Dragon in a cage on the other end of the space. I felt his presence in a tangible sense. I could feel the power emanating from this creature in a way that defies description. It may have been a baby dragon 🐉 but felt its immense potential.

I too continue to adore “children’s” movies that remind us of the reality of magic, wonder and instilled bravery and connection within once more 💕 so refreshing Mia, thank you for being you 💕

Moana, How to train your dragon, Inside Out, Enchanted, Up, Wall-E, Spirited Away, and Brave are my favorite on your list... Especially Brave. Ponyo (same creator of Spirited Away) is my favorite Studio Ghibli movie. I know that Hercules isn't witchy but it has my favorite Disney song "I can go the distance" and now I work with the Greek pantheon. The song touches me on like a soul level in a way.

It seems so wildly impossible to imagine that the people still willfully in a comatose state after a year of this insanity... will ever wake up. I don't know what to think any more... Sometimes I'm certain it's all a mass awakening happening at turtle-speed, and all is perfect; divine timing. Other times... watching zombies in masks, salivating with excitement over the mark of the beast... that's when I lose my ability to hold on to hope... (I also heard David icke speak in an interview about the coming of 6g and 7g! How will humanity survive that?)

I also find kids movies motivating and funny and they just awake all the better feelings in me. And I have also recently watched a movie "I am dragon', it's a russian movie based on an old slavic farytale about a dragon kidnapping virgins. It's just a variation but it's so magical and beautifully filmed. Interesting fact - I read some of the comments under youtube videos about the movie. Some girls used the ritual dragon song from the movie to attract love into their life, and it worked!!!

I love this!!! I watch kid movies a lot to keep my vibes up! This brings to mind a yoga Nidra experience, early on in my practice of it...I went really deep and started hearing pieces of “bippity boppity boo” which really just tickled my pickle! The thought of my guide being a fairy godmother holding space for my transformation, what?! A film not mentioned that came to mind as well... Onward! I like to watch that one any time I’m feeling doubt-y disconnect from joy & fun. And the Merlin series on Netflix and other shows like that.
