The KBDFans KBDPAD MKII is a fantastic numpad. I would say the last you'll ever need. This way you can pair it with any board you have so you get unlimited options. I know some people say "you can live without a numpad" but in my humble opinion, it just depends on your job. Drop your job in the comments and use case!

Great video! I got the Keychron Q0 numpad from Divinikey just the other day because it helps me with work too...and I like having smaller boards on my desk so I can make room more quickly by sliding them around. I just got the Keychron Q1 Pro to match the numpad and that won't be sliding around much. I'll post a tandem review of the Q0 and Q1 in a couple of weeks!

I'm a medical coder and use the num pad for work constantly. I'm new to the keyboard hobby, but I already feel limited only shopping for 96% keebs, even though I do like them. This KBDPAD looks really nice, just don't think I can't justify spending $90 on something like this yet. A bit crazy they can cost more than some full keyboards.

I work in IT also. I can't iamgine using a 75% or lower board. I spend half my life in SecureCRT connected to Linux servers and I need an INS and DEL key, since secureCRT uses CTRL+DEL to copy and SHIFT+INS to paste. I'm currently using an RK100, which has a 96% layout. But a Keychron K8 Pro is in my future, and that's a tenkeyless, so I will probably be looking for a numpad at that point.

Sounds like a ten keyless + numpad is Perfect for you. I have a few systems that require special commands that are required on a full size. I used VIA on the numpad and added macros to the extra row across the top of it. Worked like a charm

Hi, i'm looking into this, I see on the website it comes with a hotswappable PCB, with no option of a solderable one. If I do not have access to a solder kit, nor know how to solder, is this out of the question?

Correct. This one only comes soldered. But there are tons of more options since writing. Keychron Q0 is one that is a great option if you’re looking for aluminum case.
