The "shader Quality" setting actually does a whole lot (a bit to much for my liking actually). It regulates if Water actually refelcts stuff and gets cubemaps for the player to see (without screenspace or cubemap reflections the water looks so bad not kidding). It also makes shadows actually look good like giving them a bit of bluryness as shadows aren't as sharp as they are with the setting turned to the lowest in reallife either and the hard shadows really do look unsexy. I would love if these two settings actually got split up into different sections as it would allow better tweaking and make the look better while maintaning frames. Other than that the settings "Distant level of detail", "Nearby Level of Detail" and "Clutter Draw distance" are stated that they don't do anything noticable but thats actually false. Everyone who plays with all the settings turned to the lowest will notice that random object detail will pop in like half a meter before your character reqaches it making it an very anoying pop in imo and turning these settings to the max makes no absolutely no FPS difference and I encourage to turn it to the max.

@TechGuides I want to let you know one thing for future MW2 and WZ2 setting to consider about and that is Shader Quality. Determines how mastery camo on will look on your gun. On Shader Quality LOW gold looks literally like cheese, on medium is a lot better with more reflection. Because I know that there is a lot of people who grind for those camos including me and I don't want to hold cheese looking gun.

I actually just saw the nvidia image scaling option (NIS). It is like a combination of fidelity fx cas and amd fsr. Huge W

PSA If you put the 'shader quality' on low, golden camos will look like a block of cheese.

I’ve been using studio drivers n it’s the most stable free gaming experience on pc drivers never have much issues. Even on game ready older drivers I have stuttering issues here n there

Hi Tech Guides! I was wondering if my system usage is running good with this game and Warzone. My setup is a rtx 3080 - i9 11900k - 32gb 3200mhz on TaskManager my CPU runs around 50-60% usage and my GPU around 90+% usage is this good results or am I not running my pc optimal? Wherever i change my upscaling/sharpening the game resets it back to Nvidia image scaling Sometimes my display mode resets to Fullscreen borderless as well Anyone know a fix?

I would like to add, that if you like camos to look good, you have to have shader quality at medium. This will make the weapon camos look amazing.

Hey, I am running RX570 8GB, 16GB of RAM and Ryzen 5 2600 6 Core 3.20ghz. MW II MP works very well, I get 100 FPS out of it, anyhow, Warzone works the same, 90-100FPS but when engaging in fights or going in the city part of the map, I get FPS drops. Any fixes?

Every time I enter the game I have to reconfigure the graphic settings, audio and a couple of keys, Has anyone had the same problem? It's tedious, keep in mind to close the game correctly using the "Exit to desktop" button.

I looked at the video two time and you recommended settings are very good! Please allow me making two suggestions: Antialiasing to "Filmic SMAA T2X" - Antialiasing Quality to "Ultra Quality". These both settings improve the look significanty (e.g. these black spottet areas on the operators / weapons will be much less) and the performance is still very good.

at AI considered Clutter? they won't render in Invasion until they shoot or get shot.. Or if they get close enough AI should always be rendered for long shots (talking over 1000 meters)

Through the stress test and even normal gameplay my fps counter always shows around 90 to 100 consistently but it still appears to have horrible frame rate on screen do you know what could cause that or how to possibly fix it?

Shader quality effects how the gold camo looks! Low makes it have no shine while medium and high allow for shine.

Hmm with your balanced settings, I get a 13% cpu bottleneck, what is weird. On ultra settings 0% bottleneck. i9 9900K 5ghz and RTX 3080.

Mann you swiss legend PLEASE help. ? I have an i5 with 6 cores at 3ghz an 8gb 2080 and 16gb ram @2666 and on very low everything i get less frames (90fps 99% cpu bottleneck) than on normal everything (120fps 50% - 50% cpu gpu bottleneck) i also seem to get less bottleneck when i put the video memory scale to the absolute lowest value (originally on 80). I should be getting 100% gpu utilisation from what ive heard… i changed the thread utilisation, restored my bios and even upped my memory ram clock 😮
