Godzilla and Rodan were also originally prehistoric reptiles, inspired by the fictional dinosaur Rhedosaurus from The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms. Later, the Heisei films specifically mention the Godzillasaurus as a species of therapod dinosaur. Rexy and the other Tyrannosauruses from Jurassic Park are genetically flawed human recreations, and therefore less natural than Godzilla.

The Kraken’s roar has always stood out to me because of that part at the beginning that sounds further away. That first part suggests that the Kraken is so large and it’s roar so powerful that you can hear it even before the sound has travelled to you properly (I’m pretty sure that’s impossible irl but we are talking about giant movie monsters here XD)
