I enjoyed this video, but the positions you go over are quite complex and very hard for me to take in just from the video. It would be helpful to me if there were .sgf files available for these games/positions so as to make it easier for me to go over the variations more slowly and appreciate what does and doesn't work in the variations.

What is the meaning of Kyu? Plz, someone explain it to me.

it's a ranking that is the same as japanese martial arts. You can think of it as "before teacher or in Go before professional." So 10 kyu is 10 ranks before they are able to teach or they are professionals.

Translation from what? These videos are from the US Go congress.

@@ryanli94 I mean the translation from original chinese Go game, like "挂角=approach", "征子=ladder"

@Ryan Ye weiqi have a solid english vocabulary library. Most of the words are translated from Japanese (because Japanese ppl introduced this game to the west). There are a few Japanese terms that are used frequently like "miai" for example, since as far as i know there's no English equivalent for it.
