Why NF's music sounds like he built the music track around how he wanted his lyrics to sound and it fits perfectly, it's cause in "music" either the bass or the drums "carries" the melody. NF uses the cadence and rhyme scheme to hold the song together. When the beat drops out you can still count "1-2-3-4-1-......) and feel the tempo. And usually he writes in versions of a 4-count syllable rhyme scheme. 4 per count, 8 per count, 16 syllables per count.....
