At the end of the day, I wasn't really lying by calling it an incident, and I definitely agree that it will hopefully be made even safer 👍

Why .... Have a look at the water levels. Been around the sport for 35 years and racing at these levels is absolutely ridiculous and asking for trouble. Officials knew it wasn't safe hence they made a rule that crews had to run down the middle of the river. When you have boats broken down, idiot swimmers in the water constantly there aren't many places to go at low levels. Honestly hope they make a rule that the race can only be run if the water is at a certain level. @@Hereforfun441the issue is the river water was let down days before the event with many crews having already made massive trips and investments to get there, my question is why did they let so much water out, and then let none back in despite the fact the dam behind was still near max capacity

@@SkiRacingOz exactly my point and yet they still ran it anyway knowing it was unsafe. The amount of money that's in this sport is crazy. I don't think they'd run it just because teams made a trip to another state. I don't think they care about a few hundred dollars in fuel when putting 100k into an engine

@@Hereforfun441 Can’t say I disagree with you completely, our opinions might not align but I agree it probably should have been called off, I’m just giving reasons as to why it would have been, and tbf for a high cash flow business where alot goes in and a lot out a weekend when we’re gone not running can cost a lot more than that
