And that he couldn't do anything about it. Usually with his sense he's able to dodge or avoid whatevers coming but because he can't stop it that means his spider sense was just going off non-stop causing a sensory overload which is why he didn't "feel so good".

It's portrayed in different ways but Tom's explanation is probably the idea that fits all of them in a nutshell really. Spider sense just detects imminent danger and it's up to spiderman to react accordingly. They don't really "know" what it's gonna be. Hence why spiderman still gets into lots of trouble with stuff. The way you explained Tobey's and Andrews goes well beyond what's intended for their powers. Explaining it that way implies they'd never get hurt or let others get hurt. And I think the differences are merely because of the cinematic differences between all 3. Like when Tobey's spiderman is stopping the train he doesn't "see" the future. He understands the train is in danger and puts 2 and 2 together, it's a dead end. The movie travels along the track to show the viewer what's at stake.

Idk how many people noticed this but in NWH when Dr. Strange sends Peter into his Astral Form, not only does the Spider-Man use his tingles to evade strange, Peter in astral form also had the Tingle/Spidey Sense around his head like in the comics EDIT: Stranger to Strange

Andrews spider sense is the best in my opinion. Toms spider sense has its time to shine but not very often. Tobeys one is probably the most useful and isn’t always unnecessarily overkill

@@lanxe69 Yeah but it could be a pain in the ass tho. Cuz you never know how painful the tingling would be and in some cases the perception would be so painful that you might pass out. Also you can’t have a proper sleep without your spider sense going and off again as it would constantly remind you of the dangers surrounding you. But leaving the few cons aside,the pros totally beats it!

Spidey sense is actually insane, of course, it’s its inconsistency that makes it enjoyable and less broken, but I recommend everyone look into it more, its lore is really interesting.

In the comics it always went off. Basically each one here gave an idea, and are the same, just shown in a different way. Like real spiders, Spidey can feel EVERYTHING around him, potentially to the micro. This allows him to sense object moving, how fast, and what direction. All of this, paired with human's ability to sense danger already, gives us the spider sense. This is why he has to be tricked, or believe he is not in danger, to catch him off guard.

My theory is that toms spider sense can alert him to when theres something that’s about to happen, andrews spider sense can make him sense everything that is happening around him and slow everything down so he can act on it and tobeys spider sense can see danger from a mile away before it even happens (I think the level of danger they’re in determines how powerful their sense is)
