In this video you'll see spots that many don't know about, but they made for some of the best sessions that I can remember!
From False bay and the Cape peninsula to Langebaan. Enjoy this action packed video shot during the production for the CORE XR8 and Nexus3 videos.
It's been an absolute blast to be out on the XR8 kites, I usually ride the Nexus because of the versatility when it comes to wave riding. The XR8 is more twintip focused and the amount of lift you have available when you pull the bar down is amazing!

Crazy and unik style !! The ways you pop from blind to front or back and then land blind!! With some grab ! And then flat spin !! It s a big and smoothy combo of master class! Who make me dream off!! What a demonstration of technical thinks !!! 😅😅 !!

Awesome! I overcame my fear of rotation and now regularly try the strapless back roll on the hydrofoil. A challenge is that to jump well in Dahab I need a 9 but with hydrofoil I am fairly powered up already with the 7. The quest continues with being able to rotate quickly with a kite loop on 7, and trying out 9 and getting used to being powered up.

Thank you! The Carved Imperator 7 gives the ultimate feel on the feet and it really feels like the board is alive because it's soo light and responsive! The CORE Fusion 6 is a bit heavier and therefor feels more solid in the water providing more grip in chop. I prefer the feel of the Imperator 7 on my feet and in the air, but as I've been doing more blind take offs in choppy water I find that the added grip from the Fusion 6 helps me a lot.

I love your style of riding and your videos! I really must try the sent double frontroll one foot. Does it go like this : jump and engage front rotation, at the same time short pull with the front hand to place the kite forward, grab with the front hand and one foot, pulling gently with the back hand replacing the kite towards twelve, and finally pulling hard with the back hand on the way down to heli loop? I guess common mistake is to engage the kiteloop too soon...

Well seen! It's exactly like that and as you mentioned you should be carefull not looping it too soon. You can start of with some small steering movements during a double frontroll and make them bigger when you feel more comfortable.

Which board do you prefer? Is there a big difference between Fusion and Imperator? I wanna get a 137cm (close to 80kg weight) for big air mostly flat and am wondering if carved is worth the extra money. I love the way Fusion looks more too. Currently got a 136cm Slingshot Vision and hate it, heavy as fck and too slippery. Used to ride 138cm Xenon LaLuz and it was awesome, slightly too big for strong winds. Thanks in advance;)

I really enjoy both the board. The Carved is ligher and more playful than the Fusion. Considering that you mainly want to focus on Big air I would suggest the Fusion as it has a lot of grip!

Thank you! There are moments where Capetown isn’t packed with people. And some spots generally see a lot less traffic like the ones on the false bay side
