I've only seen clips of this, so maybe I'm wrong, but I really appreciate how the main couple seem to... actually like each other and their kid. So many sitcom families all seem to hate each other, or have one responsible kill joy and a bunch of goofs that person (usually the mom/wife) puts up with. These three (five) all seem flawed and fun and I totally get why they're married/friends.
