Pettersson scored 14 goals in his last 16 games. He carried this team on his back. He played every game down the stretch like it was a playoff game. He's a big game player.

That goal where he shot the puck between Pevelski’s legs and went bar down, is probably my favourite.

I still think people don't realize how insane that shot was. Bar down through pavelski's legs and the quick change of angle on the shot to avoid his stick check too.

@@Infinity238 He even declined to play for the national team to train for this next season, at least that was the vibe I got off him. He's going to do really interesting things. That Bruce was re-signed was huge, he's a great coach for young players.

23 seconds into this video, and I have a feeling there won't be many goals where you see Greener on the bench in the background.. lol. So glad Petts caught fire again under Bruce. Fun season, even if the Canucks missed the big show by a couple points.

It was his original position growing up. It was only in NHL he was asked to play center, so yes. And I think it's insane he still did such a good job at center when he never played it before. But yes, Petey being able to go on the rush more is a much more effective way to use him on the ice, he's deadly on the rush.

Keeping TG around as long as they did to start the year really didn't do Petey any favours. Same can be said for the bulk of the team though.

Lot of comments about Green but frankly Petey wasnt good for a while under Bruce either. Dont get me wrong, Green was garbage and everyone was better under Bruce but Petey was playing injured and needed that time to get healthy and also get his confidence back.
