I absolotly agree .. juzt finished watching all seasons of vikings and i just relized there is something messing in it .. that was the music .. if they made music as GOT music it would be a great show

It's amazing to think that it has been two decades since I first heard Djawadi's work, the type of composer who has so much variety, and yet you fall in love with each composition with just one sitting, listening over and over again peeling away the layers. He truly doesn't get as much credit as others like Zimmer, but he has done something for the industry that few can, in my eyes his music will always be the one to carry on the legacy of legends such as John Williams.

The first line of the song is dead Tywin, speaking to Tyrion after the Game of Thrones story is over. The other lines are Tyrion. The last one is the narrator, about Tyrion, who has lost everyone and whom no one will listen to. He goes down as a despised Lannister and a dwarf, no matter what he says, no matter what he's done.

Except in Season 7 were it faultered, with Time jumps, Motor Boats, Flash Gordon Gendry and Knee bending frenzy. Please, please, please finish this show with the love it deserves. High hopes for Season 8.

How about the LotR trilogy? It doesn't get more epic than that. GoT doesn't hold a candle to the granddaddy of fantasy. And yeah, the music's on par. There's a symphony after all that tells a frickin' story. Also Amazon is making a Middle Earth series for a billion dollars.

My favourite will always be the Rains of Castamere. Even though Catelyn was one of my favourite characters and it brings back some horrible memories, it's such a melancholy piece. I can't help but love it, however much Frey deserved everything he got in the end (Tywin gets a pass for being such a damn good character). Light of the Seven always makes me feel a zillion inexplicable emotions! I think this is the best soundtrack so far in a tv show! Really used all the powers of music to tell a story!

9:03 Khaleesi, one of my most favorite Daenerys theme. Such a powerful music marking her coming to power with her dragons breathing fire behind her as she looks towards becoming the Queen of Westeros. Let's forget her actual ending, of course. 9:46 to 11:08 such a mind blowing theme for Khaleesi 😍 10:13 to 11:08 Dany walks to the throne, touches the throne and feels its power. She sits on it and Jon crowns her the Queen and kneels. Everyone kneels before her, with ser jorah and jon and Tyrion later standing by her side as the camera pans out with Drogon's final roar for his mother. Oh how beautiful it would have been. 😍

@@arvinarooni6681 you clearly haven’t watched GoT. Game of thrones season 1-4 is peak fiction in character development, worldbuilding, storytelling, and the stakes are higher and no one is safe. There is barely any plot armor, and i take back what i said, AoT ending is horrible

This music is so emotionally evocative that it transcends the show itself. It's little wonder that we loved the characters so much when the score gave us no choice but to feel connected on a deeper level than we expected.

Seasons 1-6, also known as the good years, when Game Of Thrones was built on story, on dialogue, on complexed character arcs, and some mind-boggling twists that had you clinging to your seat when those end-credits went up. And the music most certainly backed all that up. Seasons 7 and 8 just need to be forgotten about, and then redone when GRRM has actually written them.

@@winryrockbell4361 I don't have a problem with the ending, it's how they got there that doesn't make any sense, they should've showed us Bran use his powers to manipulate his way to the throne, we know that he did (he knows everything and can see the future) we just didn't see him do it. And the whole "mad queen" twist is just stupid, they should've dedicated a whole season for this twist. And Knowing that HBO offered 10 seasons for D&D but they rejected it and rushed it instead, is what makes me angry. We would've got 2 more seasons and a better ending, if it wasn't for dumb and dumber, they aren't shitty writers I loved season 6 it is my favourite season, but they wasted this opportunity and disappointed many fans.

In my head everything beyond S4 (bar hodor stuff) is just fanfic. I love the books, I just wish they were adapted properly cuz I love hearing the music alongside an amazing plot. I really hate D&D for rushing it.

Yes, this reminds me so much …. of what the Powers that be, do to others... the diabolical, sociopathic behavior that is put upon this world by the rich and powerful. They do it just to keep that money and power.... I used to think that all people had enough good in them.... with only a very few who, were actually so awful you could label them sociopaths or psychopaths.... but, this culture we have lived in now for 5, 000 years or so.... has spawned the most vile and evil upper class imaginable.... they are worse, than any before because of ……. THE MAGNITUDE of what they can do....think NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND NUCLEAR POWER.... AND the fact that the top execs at the major oil companies, had their OWN scientists telling them that burning fossil fuels was causing CLIMATE CHANGE …. IN TH LATE 70'S EARLY 80'S …. BUT instead of coming clean.... they choose to cover it up with PROPAGANDA stating the OPPOSITE.... right out of the tobacco company play book...…………...

The North remembers brings me close to tears. Always felt like the music was another powerful character on this show. I hope for much more of it in HOTD season 2. Nicely followed up by the menacing eeriness of rains of castamere.
