Hot take- Holediggers was one of the Yogcast most underrated series. As someone who prefers the unscripted and the more technical modpacks, Holediggers is just as good as Tekkit and Moonquesy

As irrationally mad as the Trouser Base made me, the end result of this series was mad impressive. The mega-infrastructure they whacked out with megafactories, Applied Energistics and that whole space station... 'Twas truly incredible. I don't think anything the Yogs ever built quite topped the power and complexity the Hole Diggers setup. Note: Simon launching the rocket without enough fuel and smashing down with that perfect delivery of "I ran out of fuel!" is probably the hardest I've laughed in years.

one of my favourite moments of all time is lewis running to duncan's room because he couldn't get the oxygen to work. hearing the door squeak as it opens is peak comedy

As soon as I saw the moon quest one I immediately started watching Hole Diggers and I got halfway through the series before this came out

Remember That this Duncan is a Clone and there are four of them. Holediggers share it universe with Flux Buddies and Magic cops.

When this was first released I thought "huh the spacestation explosion really looks like the red matter bomb going off" then i saw the red matter bomb in Lewis's hotbar and my reaction was "well that was a load of shit"

I really liked how the show had the main cast of Simon, Lewis and Duncan and brought on special guests who would drop in and drop out and have special assignments to help the crew with. If they were ever to do a casual Minecraft series again on the main channel they should revisit this format!

"Hole diggers inc", you think, "I haven't heard that name in a long time". You thank back and smile to yourself, all the things that have happened since then, where you and those friends are now, how much eveyone has grown, it seems so long ago. You click on the video. You've made your decision.

If I remember correctly, this is the last time they did a unique storyline... then they just started following god damn quest books and it became less and less about story. And thats pretty much when the Yogscast was over for me.
