A young person who has had a near death experience because of their stupidity but lived to learn from it can end up being a better driver than someone who never takes the responsibility of driving seriously but gets away with it over and over again. Or they might not learn from it. Depends on the person. We can't just write off every person that makes a mistake though.

#30 is literally going through the north east quadrant of a category 4 hurricane while driving in the river parishes which were decimated in that hurricane. It’s a high flood zone area too. That date is Hurricane Ida which caused 2-3 weeks of blackouts if not months of power outages in that area. Unbelievably stupid.

No, he didn't deserve to have his license revoked. Accidents like that happen all the time. You might get a ticket if you're at fault, and if your car is driveable, you're free to go on your merry way. If he actually did get it revoked by the authorities, there's something he's not telling us.

I live in Louisiana. Chances are there are at least 3 different warnings from different gov agency/authority every time hurricane is approaching to not be on the road due to possible down power line, falling trees and flying debris. Not to mention the high winds and rising waters. Risking First responders lives to save the cammer dumbass. They only time to be in the road is if it’s a life/death situation and must drive to hospital and can’t wait for first responders. People like him need to be fine for their stupid actions and license suspended for at least 6 months

#19 7:17 You're more than "partially the idiot". No crystal ball needed to know why truck switched lanes and why he'd move back to the right lane. You failed to move back left once you saw the tow truck (potentially endangering the tow truck driver had he been working on the shoulder), you failed to avoid passing on the right (especially a semi), you failed to adjust your speed once it became clear that he was moving over and didn't see you (because he made the mistake of assuming no one in their right minds would do what you did. He was partially the idiot for that.) Too bad, previous cammers' admissions of "I was the idiot" was a refreshing change.....

It’s like 12 points on your license and it’s revoked for I think 6 months. Unless you get like a crazy charge like “stunt driving” which is 40+ over. Revoked for 1 month and impounded 2 weeks. Point being, there’s a lot they’re not saying lol. My guess is DUI

@@ethandean206I understand you are young and do not know what the word revoked means. Revoked means the State has canceled the license and that Driver's License is gone forever. You can't get that License back except through Court Action of successful appeal of the revocation. You can apply for a NEW license after the period of mandatory wait time set by Statute in your State. In my home State that's one year. Absolutely this Cammer may have actually had their license revoked by disclosing a medical condition but I've never heard of that happening. The State will suspend your license upon advisement until you provide acceptable medical records that the State accepts. With no acceptable documentation the State will keep the Suspension in place until the license itself expires.

@@okay_then3337 Yep. And then shortly after that he hit what looked like a chunk of tree in the road. Car didn't just stall. Nose in the water like that, I can almost guarantee it hydrolocked. Despite all the abuse it took in sacrificing its life, its electrical system stayed on for an amazing amount of time, still able to power the camera for hours.

The fact there doesn't appear to be another vehicle anywhere on the roads is a bit of a warning that MAYBE, JUST MAYBE you shouldn't be on them yourself in that weather. Storm chasers generally head to places where a storm is likely to hit, they don't normally drive straight into them

I can see the thought process. Sees car go through light, but suddenly hit brakes. Late at night, no cross traffic. Cabin probably illuminated just enough for the cop to see the driver facepalm or go "oh shit" or something similar. Cop's reaction: "Eh, they realize what they did and beat themself up for it. Context for #30 is this guy is driving through hurricane Ida. One of the worst storms in history to hit Louisiane. This video jumped out to me because I know the bridge and the area. Then, I noticed the date and it clicked that this person is an absolute nutcase because no one should be on the road at all during a hurricane. Let alone one that made to category 4 prior to landfall. The amount of destruction that came from this storm was unreal. That cammer is definitely lucky to be alive.

This is in CT which has a move over law, the purpose of which is definitely not to create a passing lane for the cammer to put speeding traffic right next to stopped emergency vehicles. Too bad the unmarked cop car providing traffic support didn't go after them. The broken down vehicle is already loaded on the rollback so they are about done there.

#19 Not partially but the ONLY idiot here: when encountering a tow truck or police car on the side of the road you are supposed to move over by one lane (like the truck did) or slow down to 40 mph max. There was no reason for the truck to expect any car to pass him on the right lane immediately afterwards.

5:00 - Don't be too hard on yourself. Like, yeah, that sucked, more care was needed. But in between the sunset right in front of you, and the car in the right lane blocking your view of the cyclists until you were that close, you were not in great circumstances, and unlike some of these other clips you were paying attention enough that you were able to stop in time. I suspect you weren't speeding, but given the cam just says 1.9MPH, I can't tell.

Clip 25: Got license revoked for causing ONE accident despite having a CLEAN record up to that point? Damn that's harsh. Props to the cammer for admitting fault. If they had a shady record before that crash I can totally understand and support revoking their license. I wonder how long that cammer had been driving for before that crash. Sadly too many drivers do MUCH worse (and on a regular basis) but are allowed to keep their licenses.

See that’s just it, they wouldn’t have had their license revoked if this were their first infraction. There’s something they’re not telling us. Like potential DUI, or prior moving violations.

The part they left out: they had a clean record because they were a fairly new driver. Canada is really strict on new drivers (from what the cammer said when pressed on the issue). Some of what they said makes me think they were under 18 too.

9:49 I understand the insurance's decision. The driver of the black car didn't even think of avoiding the accident. Sadly this is typical American entitlement. Yes he had the right of way but avoiding an accident has the highest priority. So many drivers don't get this simple rule. Common sense is not common.

#11, the car that was stopped in front of you had only 1 brake light. Not entirely your fault for not seeing they were stopped. #13 was probably blinded by the sun and confused why the white car stopped.. good thing is though, you realized and quickly acted.

#3 you’re lucky that the accident wasn’t worse because you was doing 78 mph in a rainstorm like that. You’re supposed to drive according to the weather conditions not the speed limit signs.

#25… getting your license revoked on your first ever fender bender sounds extremely sus… Ima take consipiracy door number 2 and guess DUI/OWI/DWI for one driver’s license. Accident wasn’t anything crazy but it doesn’t need to be if they can smell something on you when they show up and that can certainly lose you a license for a year in a lot of places.

#22 Every driver has done that. After doing it too many times myself as a younger driver, I realized years ago that I had to retrain myself to better recognize and handled pedestrian hazards. Don't assume that because they are on the sidewalk, they are no longer an hazard. But something else happened in your video. The pedestrian had not looked anywhere but straight ahead when she entered the next crosswalk. She glanced left after she was 2-3 feet into the street, never looked over her shoulder to notice the risk you presented. Eye contact! I am not stepping out in front of a car if the driver is looking somewhere else.

2:58 - "In my defence... there is none." Yeah, whoops! I suspect you did exactly what I did watching this vid; got distracted by the car in the next lane indicating to pull over, and didn't notice the traffic up ahead stopping until it was too late. At least that's some explanation; better than the next clip, where the driver was just straight-up not looking at what was happening.

Why would you drive 101mph (160kmh) on such a road in the dark without seeing radius/bend of that corner? Is he stupid? He could've killed himself + passenger + other's on the road traveling the opposite direction.
