Motorsport Ireland have strict safety plans put into each event that’s planned months in advance. Rally cars have pre event checks to ensure all the necessary safety measures are in place or that car isn’t allowed to start. Like any motorsport accidents can happen unfortunately but thankfully everyone involved have been trained and experienced in what they do.
