seeing the praying mantis audibly made me go "yooooo!" honestly, jerma is THE streamer i can relate to. i dont have the energy to watch all of his 8 hour long streams but im happy to catch the big production streams and some of my favorite games. theres that video showing off relation of jerma and ADHD personified, and i dont know if he really has it or even publicly talks about it but its one of the things thats helping me diagnose it now. the way he gets excited about things makes me feel a little less dumb for the things i get excited over, and seeing the chat bully him and blow it off is just fun to see cuz in a way its how i talk to my self when i come across mushrooms on walks in the forest. some of his rants are far too high concept, or sometimes he embarrasses himself and quits half way through, and i just feel some kind of gratification for it. him doing the fake drumming session and INSTANTLY quitting reminds me on my birthday when i wanted to stand through my friends sun roof while driving. i stood for all of 10 seconds before sitting back down, half fulfilled, half embarrassed, but fun has been had. watching jerma is like a form of perspective i cant normally have in just a mirror. besides him its only vinesauce vinny and rubberross, but they are more interest or aspiration driven than truly relating to what i see. vinny is stable, controlled, something i wish i could emulate. ross, an amazing artist and nothing but an inspiration in art and animation. but jerma, jerma is comfortable to watch, therapeutic if anything.
