J.T'.s Final Tribal Council performance is easily one of the best that I've seen from any winner. He was so upfront and honest about his entire game, and addressed each juror with such conviction. It's no wonder why the vote was unanimous.

I miss old seasons like this - no returning players (yet interesting players), no crazy twists (if you don't count exile island), not that many players, other location than Fiji, auction without advantages in the game, no dividing into tribes by traits, and so on I get that they need to change it up to make it more interesting and maybe draw more watchers but I miss seasons like this.

That little evil smile he has when he’s like “I’m here to make sure they all hate each other.” is still pretty charming. Crazy that he actually had such a dominant performance this season and then made some of the riskiest moves that turned on him quick later.

He just got a little too cocky thinking he could control Russell. The funny thing is he sort of plays like Russell a little bit, but his jury management is much better. He also assumed a country guy like Russell wouldn't be teamed up with the girl from LA girl from Micronesia that eliminated all the guys on her winning season. However, Parvati is actually from the South, so she gets along with someone like Russell pretty well. Also, on Cook Islands Parvati dragged this guy Adam as far as she could because she thought she could beat him, so she'll drag a guy like Russell to the final 3.

Love him or hate him, J.T is someone who plays to win the game and that's what I love about him as a player. His game in this season is a borderline top 5 game of all time (top 10 for sure) and he was playing a great game in Heroes vs Villains he just made one bad mistake (Though in J.T's defense: he didn't know who Russell was so yeah him giving him the idol is bad but if Russell wasn't actually a villain that move works and J.T probably wins the season and goes down in history as the best to ever play) in Game Changers he got a bad swap and found an idol but did obviously make some mistakes but again he's not out there to play it safe, he plays to win regardless and you gotta respect players who play like that. I personally think he is still a top 20 player (top 15 maybe) ever and I wish there was a player like J.T on every season.

The problem with JT in the later seasons is that he does a major risk for reward, giving russel the idol would of won him the game (probably) rubert and Colby wouldn’t turn on him if he was right russel probs wouldn’t and if he did he wouldn’t have numbers (I think Amanda might of) and if he made it to the end he would of won and what a lot of people forget that he ran the hero’s tribe In game changers if my memory correct yes it’s his fault Malcolm was voted out but Malcolm left leaving 16 players if they swapped tribes 2 of 8 he would of had numbers and been trusted or even won the next challenge and he would of been there for a 3 tribes of 5 swap where again he would have numbers it’s not that he’s a bad player he’s just abit too risky

-Brendan said "J.T. winning will be better for me than me winning" - despite JT having zero relationship with him -Sierra wanted JT to win because she was so out of the game as everyone was on a witch hunt for her and she felt since he was on the outs strategically (and numbers wise) it would be the biggest blow against Timbira - even though JT said "I HATE HER" when he hardly knew her -Coach just wanted him to win as it went with his whole "the strong survive" bullshit and he felt it would have been a win for him -Taj voted JT because she was closer with Stephen and JT was just their number so she felt more betrayed by him It really was a wildcard jury and they based their decisions on their own perceptions/ambitions rather than what took place in the game.
