Fun fact: Krusty WAS Homer in disguise for the first 2 seasons before they decided against that big reveal and just keep them separate. They believed audiences wouldn't receive it well.

Actually that's partially incorrect. Homer and Krusty were to be the same person, but Matt Groening shot that down and made them seperate hence why in the episode about the Clown School, Homer dressed up to literally look like Krusty.

@@TheGloriousLobsterEmperor no they changed it since they didn't need the escape plan anymore. It was originally meant to be a sweet surprise ending if the simpsons got canceled early. That way bart respected homer all along. Well the rest is history Kristy gets framed was used to show theyre two different people, and homer got to keep his job at the nucleon plant.

Krusty is not only the only clown that doesn’t scare me but he’s also ironically the only clown I feel comfortable leaving around my kids. He’s my second favorite character on the show.
