Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan also known as Vaidyanthan Ramaswamy is a well known Tamil Violin artiste. “Best of Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan VIolin Collection” is an outstanding audio rendition of Carnatic Instrumental Tamil Superhit songs.
Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan also composed many songs for the Carnatic Music Industry. He was awarded the prestigious "Padma Shri" title by the Indian government, Kalaimamani award, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award by the Sangeet Natak Akademi in 1993, and the Karnataka Isaignani award. He has also won Best Music Director awards for his background scores for films. He received the Sangeetha Kalasikhamani award given by "The Indian Fine Arts Society" in 1996.
The album “Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan : Hits of the Violin Virtuoso” is dedicated to the South India's greatest Violin artistes of all-time, Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan. Especially songs like “Chinnanchiru Kiliye” and “Eppadi Paadinaro” have become a very famous Carnatic Instrumental song for the Tamil music lovers.

We have lost many great people like Kunnakudi Sir. I had a chance to see him and heard his music in Trichi iyyappan temple many years ago. What a wonderful personality. THE BEST. I thank God for putting me in this world as Tamizhan to enjoy these wonderful artists. 🙏 ❤

Wonderful rendering of Raga "Shanmukha Priya"! He is a GEM OF BHARATH forever"! Whether Govt. recognises his scholarship in its true sense or not, He is truly "BHARATHI (Godess Saraswati) PUTHRA" and undoubtedly "BHARATHA RATNA" in the minds of Music lovers!!!!

Exceptional play by him. What a laya pramanam wonderful. He deserved SANGEETHA KALANIDHI and music academy purposely neglected a versatile artist who really carry forwarded Carnatic music to WIDE Audiences through his violin concerts. He played around 6000 concerts along with Valayapatti throughout the country. They have honoured Sangeetha kalanidhi to valayapatti but not Main artists. Is it Fair? Now Sanjay Subramaniam has become a POP / RAP Singer now therefore will they take back the Award given to him.
