Lucy hasn't aged much; good for her. For some reason, she reminded me of Scorpina from The Power Rangers 😅 and I just realized that Cyrus (Nathaniel Lee) at 06:29-06:31 was the Blue Priest from Hercules and The Lost Kingdom.

She was the reason Xena exists. They were trying out love interests for Hercules and the audience loved Xena. Lucy unfortunately was left out of Hollywood until Ally Macbeal.

*I have always liked Lucy Liu. She's pretty. I first knew her from Kill Bill vol.1 which was a film that came after this. Kevin Sorbo is a very handsome and gentle actor. I don't blame her for having a crush on him in this series*

Who knew? I missed these episodes. She played an interesting character well. It made me wonder how Cynthia Rothrock would have been in this series

If you're just getting into the series from these videos come back later because I will be spoiling one of my favorite episodes. Cynthia Rothrock was in the series wasn't she? I think she was the Fire Enforcer. If she is she was Hera's greatest weapon. She killed Iolaus, tried to kill Hercules' mother. Killed the Water Enforcer for getting in her way and then beat Hercules to a pulp until he turned his powers back on her. Looking back I don't think Hercules ever had an advantage over her except dumb luck.

What's funny is that men in ancient Greece did not wear trousers. They considered them feminine (or too Persian) Hercules (Herakles) would have been no exception

Exactly! One dude was sold to be eaten by lions and Herc just looked like "What a shame..." Lucy Liu comes along and suddenly "I must save her because.... uh, slavery is wrong. Yeah, that's totally why."

Why did Herc save *Lucy Liu* but not the guy who was going to be *eaten by lions*? What could be the difference between them that only one inspried him to act? Truly a baffling mystery...

@birdie3rdie They don't need a character to specifically be a villian for there to be conflict. Just like Cyrus here or someone like Thor in the viking episodes, where they have different ideas or understandings.
