Marichat is probably the most functional angle of the Love Square. The other three are rendered nonfunctional by one or both parties' anxiety, inability to communicate, and romanticized idealization of the other. With Marichat, there's no pressure. It's just two friends who bonded over their similar problems and just started hanging out. It's what a mature, healthy relationship looks like once the initial passion and infatuation fades a bit and both partners accept each other for who they are.

You know everybody says that right? Marichat is the most normal relationship, but they're not boyfriend/girlfriend material at all. If anything, they're more platonic than romantic.

@@thiffio9134 I don’t really see a problem if everyone says that. But at the moment they are the healthiest ship in the love square thing. However I like them platonically, it fits them a bit better. And, at the moment I agree, they aren’t boyfriend/girlfriend material at the moment, but as episodes go on they’ve grown a stronger friend ship, so sometime in the future they might be a bit more boyfriend / girlfriend material Not trying to be rude with you btw, everyone has their own opinions

If you are comparing Marichat to something like lukanette …then I agree. But if you comparing it between things like adrienette and ladrien…well sorry to break it to you but they are all the same people. Anyways they are all great

Honestly. People say “they’re the same person” when sure they are but they very much aren’t. Chat noir is brave and outgoing and isn’t afraid of doing what he wants unlike his civilian persona who just does as his dad wishes. And marinette becomes NORMAL, a little sassy, less clumsy, and altogether an enjoyable character. Take chat away from Mari and you have a stalker, clumsy, stupid girl who just gets whatever she wants cuz she’s the lead girl.

I began to think that Marichat is by far the most realistic because they both act like themselves. Chat puts on a romantic persona to try and woo ladybug and absolutely hates being adrien Agreste because it means he cant be free. Marinette puts on a air of heroes confidence when she is lady bug and stops functioning around adrien as herself but when she is with chat she can be herself like with alya

I love marichat Out of the whole love square it’s the healthiest ship. Chat isn’t going after lady bug, Adrian isn’t going after lady bug, mari isn’t going after Adrian, they can be themselves around each other because they aren’t freaking out trying to flirt etc with the other.

I recommend Doublejeu as another installment to the Marichat Comic dubs, it's not as action heavy so most of the vocal/animation work can go into dialogue timing, and it's definitely worthy of your team's skills!
