I worked at The Frog and Bucket in the late 90's early 00's. A golden era of not just British but northern comediens. Peter was just starting to make a name for himself. Practically the entire cast of Phoenix Nights are all very good stand up comedians too and they performed regularly at the frog too. The greatest compliment I can give Peter is that every night he was on, ALL the other comedians would be at the bar with us bar staff, all of us laughing uncontrollably even though we knew the entire set! Names like Paddy McGuiness, John Bishop, Mick Ferry, Dom Carrol, Steve Harris.... even Les Dennis! Thanks for the memories Pete..... but your still not allowed behind the bar!! 😂

Saw PK last night at AO. Good night, was shocked at the amount of weight he’s lost. Hope you are well. So sad stories about his Nan. Audience was in hysterics, proper humour, non of the PC, woke s-t!!!
