@@meredithf4604 Cammer isn't wrong, but the lady was just doing what everyone else was doing. The lines are clearly marked. 1 drive through lane that splits right before the two kiosks. The lane the van was in is for through traffic to circle the store. I bet there were cars waiting behind the cammer, too. People just do whatever they want, though.

@@_baqiI swear, dash cams make people drive worse. So many of the cammers make almost no effort to avoid crashes and oftentimes seem to intentionally have a near miss, just to have a clip to share. Drivers are still required to make an effort to avoid a collision, even if the other driver is breaking a law or making an improper manuaver.

#29 Cammer should learn rules. Use both lanes & merge in turn when the lanes converge. At the point the lanes converge the other driver is in front & the cammer is moving left into him. Cammer is in the wrong with his "No one is passing me" mentality

He lets the cars that were there first go and then it should have been his turn but the white car decided he wanted to go. The white car did the rolling stop and should have waited for cammer to go as it was cammer’s turn to proceed through the intersection

Someone did it to me last week and I couldn't do anything because I was at a stop sign at a busy road. Just told him to get back in his car and he told me to kill myself. Great species we got here. (this was after he made a left cutting through half my lane almost hitting me. Gave him a gentle love tap on the horn, nothing crazy. Guess he wasn't in as much of a hurry as he seemed)

I had a conversation with this clown when the clip originally posted. I said he had nearly 10 seconds to respond and he replied, "10 seconds to respond? I didn't even see the tire until it was like half a second from my bumper." I tried to explain the concept of brake lights to him but he absolutely refused to learn.

My dad started teaching me when I was like 10y/o, and I my daughters, that you don’t just look at the car right in front of you. If you see break lights up the highway you start preparing and pay attention. Don’t necessarily need to hit the breaks but let off the gas and observe. He said if you see vehicles in more than one lane tapping breaks than it is most likely a hazard. He also taught that in heavier traffic try to see the the tail lights of the 2-5 vehicles in front of you. It has saved me from many rear end collisions when the car right in front wasn’t paying attention.

This whole mess was the result of people not paying attention to fog advisories and not driving according to weather conditions. I will never understand road rage. It just isn't worth it. If someone blows past you and tries to squeeze in, just let them in. If someone starts raging on you, just back off or do your best to get out of the situation. People go crazy over such petty things sometimes. I will say there is one thing that gets my blood boiling and that is left lane drivers. Get the ef over if you're not passing someone. Nothing worse than get stuck behind someone in the left lane not passing and going just about the same speed as the person next to them. But I would never act on that anger out on the road.

When I have my cruise control set at the speed limit and get stuck behind 2 people going under the speed limit is what I am referring to in my original comment. Regardless of whether speeding or not, get out of the left lane unless you are passing. And if you are passing, pass and get over as soon as possible.

6:28 unless cammer was coming from a road with two lanes (and likely not if you look at the opposite stop sign, only one lane there) he's in the wrong here. Don't make a turn and go wide into the second lane. If he had just turned sharper into the left lane both he and the white car could've gone at the same time. Likely that's how this intersection is supposed to work. Really, there should be traffic lights for such a busy intersection though. Stop signs for a four way with two of the ways having double lanes is kinda ridiculous.

I drive in Chattanooga frequently. The speed limit thru most of the city is 55. But I don't think he had made it all the way into town yet, so it may still have been 70. Chattanooga is a scary place to ride on the interstate. My usually led footed self slows way way down driving thru there.

After the driver hits it, you can vaguely see it make a beeline towards the right side shoulder.... basically looks like it was going right in front of the same car carrier truck that the wheel fell off of (judging by the 4-ways/emergency flashers)
