19:26 so what this kid did in the first place was why he was chased down, he could have very well avoided this whole conflict if he just stayed in his land and slowed down and gave that other car a wide birth. but for some dumbass reason he decided to create conflict with the guy who was driving like a moron, and cut the moron off by being a moron himself. just slow down when dealing with drivers like that, you are making an aggressive move when you cut them off, that's just asking from trouble. i mean i'm glad the other guy didn't kill him with his gun, but seriously where the fuck did this kid learn how to drive, this was a very dumbass move to make.

Yep. My mother had that issue. She was waiting to turn right on an intersection with a inclined blind spot. Some guy in a truck decided to go apeshit because she wasn't making the turn and got out of his truck. Started screaming at her in the middle of the street like a toddler and then approached the car. She just drove off saying she's glad we don't live in America or she might have been shot. People are crazy.

Honestly. He's going to save lives and doesnt have to obey traffic. I get he was originally trying to pull over. I did the same thing by accident. Four lane road so I went to the left to make room for him to go in the middle but he just honked at me till I went to the right. Even if it's them misunderstanding you doing what you think or even very well is right, they might be going to a harry situation and I dont envy that stress.

@@user-os4fl4zj7d At least in some jurisdictions, emergency vehicles and personnel are in fact allowed to push your car out of the way or otherwise damage it to tend to an emergency. A common one is breaking out the windows and putting a fire hose through a car that's blocking a hydrant.

Is it illegal to ride electric scooters on the road? I checked and generally it is allowed, so the driver is at fault by squeezing him.

Gotta pick either the road or the curb if you wanna ride a scooter or bicycle, can’t have both. Also gotta adhere to traffic laws, which both cyclists and scooter riders never follow.

It is allowed to ride an electric scooter on the road, the person was being an asshole though, which is unfortunately very common for people on non-motorized vehicles, and was not at all following traffic and driving laws. Plus the shattering of the windshield is absolutely illegal, vandalism. However the driver should have been much more wary, give cyclists and such LOTs of space because they tend to be pretty self-entitled since they can act like a pedestrian but they also travel at pretty high speeds and sometimes don’t know the rules of the road and therefore can be very unpredictable. It sucks, but it is how I goes.

# 19 was the main cause of all his problems. The red car cut him a little short but wasn't going to cause a collision. He had plenty of time to slow down a little bit.

Yeah and he lied about what happened too. I think the red car made a perfectly safe merge, maybe a little bit too close for comfort but the cammer decided to be angry and tailgate him which resulted in a brake check. That's what I thought they were going to do when they tapped the guy's bumper. EDIT: Just looked this up, and yes, in most places in the US, emergency vehicles can nudge or push your car out of their way as a last resort. It varies from state to state, but it's generally accepted.

It's just easier to let it slide, and not even honk at them, because you never know what kind of day the person in the car next to you is having, and it's never worth losing your life over. Perfectly said. Most of these could have been avoided with simple courtesy or humility. I actually made a huge mistake the other day, a car stopped dead on 50 mph road around a turn, and I was like I'm going to kill this person stopped, so without looking I just shot into the lane to my left. The guy in the left lane must have read all of this, since he slowed way down behind me in the left lane before I cut him off. He was mad at me, but he has no idea how thankful I am he was paying attention, he saved me from serious injury, and/or me killing the other person who stopped dead on a highway.

Let's call the driver in the front driver A. And the one behind is driver B. Driver A does not like being passed because they feel it's driver B telling them that they are not driving correctly/fast enough/etc. Driver B initially just wants to get on with their trip, so they attempt to put this behind them. Litterally and figuratively. Driver A doesn't believe they were driving incorrectly in any way, or at least they are not going to accept comments from anyone they do not view as having the authority to critique their driving. They'll be damned if they are going to endure this (in their view) criticism of their driving by letting driver B pass them. So they try to block Driver B from passing them. Now, at this point driver B can and often does back off. But if they feel strongly enough that they have been "wronged" by driver A's inept driving, they will keep the situation going or even escalate it. Throw dashcams into the mix, and people feel more invincible. That's why we keep hearing people say "I got you on camera, you (insert derogatory name calling here)." Ultimately, you get what we see in videos like this.

The infuriating part is that those blatantly in the wrong are the ones who end up angry. It's disheartening to think about kids sitting in the passenger seat, witnessing adults behaving irresponsibly. The level of acceptability is just not there. It's astonishing how people feel comfortable approaching strangers in traffic, seemingly oblivious to the prevalence of guns in the U.S. Why isn't anyone addressing the absurdity of the guy in the first clip spraying a fire extinguisher at someone? Many of these incidents escalate because dashcam users let it become an ego battle, which does them no favors.

Most people don't know this, but in the United States if you pull your vehicle in front of another car to stop that car from going anywhere, you can actually be charged with abduction for holding them there. As a retired police officer I have seen too many people lose their careers, reputations and everything else because they want to be a control freak and block someone's movement by using their vehicle. This is abduction people whether you believe it or like it or not.

I have a friend that retired after almost 40 years as a state trooper. He said that studies are done on people with road rage. He said most end up with fairly serious medical issues in life because they take everything so serious and believe everyone but them is wrong. Heart attacks, strokes, ulcers, all sorts of nerve problems and lots end up heavily medicated. He says you can watch these videos and do some research and see who’s been cited over and over for these type of incidents and why they do to themselves is horrible.

I got into an accident at 75mph age 24, ever since them I try to avoid going 80+ as it triggers a very mild PTSD I can not control and anxiety hits in. We've had a couple of people do some stupid shit while driving and I just calmly back off the gas and drop back, tell her to call the CHP or PD and we report the drivers vehicle and location and let them handle it. Yeah i'll get pissed at the time but I won't aggressively pursue or escalate the situation, it's just not worth it, #21 being the perfect example why, you don't know what people are gonna do. And I'm not about to have someone pull a gun out on me over something stupid and avoidable.

Number 56 pissed me off. When changing lanes, the other lane does not need to accommodate you. The lady had no obligation to stop and let him in, even if his blinker was on. And then to go on and threaten her was so wrong. I learned long ago to not expect kindness from other drivers, but appreciate it when given and do my best to give it to others.

one time I was driving down a 2 lane highway. an oncoming car threw a full water bottle at the car in front of me and completely shattered the windshield, so yes a fish can do a lot of damage as it's essentially a bag of water and water is heavy and dense

The problem is people like you think its rude when its actually in the driver manual they give you and honestly clearly needs to be on the test cause a lot of people dont understand the dude in the blue pick-up was in the wrong. You are supposed to use the whole lane in any scenario where a merge lane happens. It how you are supposed to drive

@@sheldonsimon4484 proper zipper merge is using all of the lane until it ends SPECIALLY in rush hour traffic instead of letting a mile of road be empty simply because you know it ends. its very simple really. The fact people dont due it extends traffic hours. Been multiple studies on it. Feel free to educate yourself by looking them up!
