talk to your coach. all starts from there, tell him youd like to compete and if theres any competitions he'll put you out there also depending on your skill level. itll be decided wether amateur or professional for you. good luck. usually have to compete first in amateur and climb the ranks to professional.

@@amrali7424 Wrong. MMA isn’t Sanda. Sanda is pretty much the gung fu equivalent of MMA. Sanda mixes in techniques from all gung fu styles, just as MMA mixes in techniques from all martial arts. In Sanda, some people come from a straight wushu base, some come from a Hung Gar base, some come from a Choy Li Fut base, and so on. Likewise, MMA has fighters coming from Sanda, Muay Thai, boxing, TKD, Sambo, BJJ, wrestling, and so much more. Martial arts means something to do with combat, and MMA, like I said, is the pinnacle of that so far. It is the closest we have to real combat. Hardly any rules that restrict you to do certain things, unlike boxing, Sanda, TKD, karate, etc. MMA isn’t “Sanda with jiujitsu and a lot of blood.” You’re incredibly ignorant. Please shut up, for your sake and mine.
