When Voyager was on TV, a coworker of mine only talked about how she looked.... But she turned why they added her and turned her into a great character on the show. Storylines got so much better because of her there

People focused on her looks but forgot that she had been acting for the better part of eight years before she got the role of Seven. She was more than a pretty face.

I think she will definitely have one after "Picard" is done. All signs seem to point to a 'Captain Seven' series 😄

If they have it set aboard the NCC-1701-G Enterprise, it will be interesting (and historic) to hear Jeri Ryan’s rendition of that famous “space, the final frontier” speech.

She acted like she was channeling a Klingon warrior, then a Ferengi. Later she emulated the EMH to perfection, kinesics, facial expressions, inflections : Damn near - perfect.

STOP THE CAP! her Voyager days is infinitely better and hotter besides that, her new take is more acceptable for the time that we're in now and she doesn't quite feel like this is the same character from that Voyager era it feels like a completely different character.

She's not hotter. She's twice as old, no longer has that tight little bubble butt. Her butt is flat from the side now, and wider from the rear view.

Man i agree the new take is fresh but c'mon stop the nonsense she has aged gracefully and still is a fine woman no doubt but better than the skin tight lady in her 20's. I don't think so! Her updated character arc is been excellent and flushed out the character up to season 3 episode 5!

@@Knightfall182 she wouldn't be, but in the world they show in Picard, it makes sense. The Borg detachment, mixed with human grief, with no one to guide her. Seems like a pretty normal response. For the record, I don't like how they wrote The Federation. It was lazy. But that's how they did it. I consider it non canon fan fiction.

@@O1OO1O1 Actually, if you look at what happened, the Federation being none-too-please with Picard actually makes sense. They gave him a fleet to help the Romulans, the Narada wiped most of it out. They then, despite those losses, were still willing to give him a fleet that was getting built at Utopia Planetia. THAT got wiped out. Add to that 300+ years of the Romulans trying to actively wipe the federation out, and you can understand why 14 species wanted to pull out if they tried to help the Romulans for a THIRD time. and on top of that, Picard literally insults them to their faces on live media WITHOUT mentioning the context of why they gave up, and then asks them to reinstate him a week later. "Sheer Fucking Hubris" is an entirely justified comment at that point. There's only so much slack Picard got before he used it all up (what with the deaths of tens of thousands of Starfleet officers to help a species who frankly has NEVER been friendly to the Federation, and only allied in the Dominion war out of self-preservation).

I remember when Whoopie had so many fun movies in the 80's. She was great on TNG, but sadly I can't stand her now. Everyone, black and white used to love her, but her politics are so horrible now, that It is hard for me to separate the actor from the character. She got a huge fortune after all those horrible white people loved watching her movies.

Yep but they needed popular characters from past Star Trek shows to get people to watch this show. The crappy storyline wasn’t going to do that on its own.
