Not really, there are clean remaps and there are people who do them, but usually its just a dude with his laptop that barwly knows how to flash an ecu and downloads remap from vagforums, and thinks that "soot = power"

It's down to the map being to rich/over fueling. I own a 2.0tdi mapped and straight through exhaust (no dpf or cat bk) and no smoke like these. Looks awful!

My stock 110hp mk4 tdi golf tops out at about 185-190 kph, so idk why you'd phrase your comment that way. I'd say any gti will reach 180kph without braking a sweat

@@stoopidhaters go listen to a straight piped OM606, OM602, 4D56, 6BT, detroit 2 stroke, 7.3 powerstroke etc. There are so many sick sounding diesels out there. Saying "Its a diesel what do you except" is stupid. This is just a small displacement 4 cylinder engine. Most 4 cylinder gas engine don't sound good either

ok so? What does them being diesels have to do? These engines are very tough and can take lots of horsepower for their small size. There are some super sick sounding diesels out there like the OM602, OM606, 7.3 powerstroke etc
