One week ago to the day, at 4 a.m., 1600 runners left Courmayeur for a very special edition of the TDS®. 9,100 meters of positive altitude difference, 145 kilometers.
With a competitive line up in the men’s and women’s fields, Ludovic Pommeret made an impressive come from behind to cross the line in 3rd place. Just 10 minutes later, Gregoire Curmer was the 5th finisher after a very commendable race by the Frenchman.
In the women’s race, after a great battle between the top three, Kathrin Gotz was 3rd place on the podium, adding to her already 2 victories in the UTWT this year.
