Can't believe Geomancer didn't at least get a shoutout. Burn on just 1 target, but so much damage from the passive. Recently I've been running him in a provoke set for control and even more damage.

I got Sulfuryion and he instantly became one of my most used champions. Tomb Lord is also great poison champion that brings decrease attack, defense and speed, another one on the most used list for me.

This is a brilliant idea and you delivered in the “Ash-fashion” that we all know and love! Great job sir!

Totally agree on Corvis! He isn’t glamorized but I use him everywhere. Spider hard with Akemtum. Dragon hard and normal, even ice golem normal and hard. The boss doesn’t take the poisons but he clears the minions quickly and extends burns or hexes. Plus the buff extension is such a big bonus. I didn’t even know about the passive damage mitigation but even better! I don’t use him in clan boss but I’m sure he’d be good. Also makes doom tower and sintranos mega easy

Duuude no Tomb Lord 4 poisons and every one of the best debuffs and 100% turn meter steal and extra turn. Kavalax, Teodore and Tomb Lord in a team together could be crazy broken .....and Sulfuryion may be one of the absolute nastiest champs in the game. I dont have walking tomb but it sounds like Sulfuryion has an even more op version of hp burn which is pretty nuts. This was an awesome video, pretty fun idea man!

Great list Ash. Another thing to mention about Tuemesia is that even though it is a damaging ability her A2 can place burns on hydra heads through poison cloud. I got her as my 2nd or 3rd void leggo and she is still on so many of my teams.

Kalvalax is pretty much my most wanted Champion, love how he looks, doesn't hurt that he's fricking awesome too.

For Gaius, you can team him up with a champ like Basher or Alika to lock out the cleanse, so the bombs will go off even though they are two turn. He’s very strong that way.

Im here for the Sicia love. Not to mention her burn activation can also put up defense down and weaken. Since the blessing rework she outshines my artak in hydra

I pulled corvis and thought "meh" at first, but then I used him for CB and he friggin' rocks. I can 1 key NM now with him.

Hey man, I know I've mentioned it before, but I would really love to see your rankings for Go-First champs, meaning booster or other setup champs, or just any champ that you would want to be the first to go in any type of speed team. There are so many good ones now, but most of us still just use our arbiters. Would love to see your ideas of who are the best of the best!

You should do this as a mini series like "BOTB Revivers, Block Debuff champs, Unkillable" etc.

Love Noct, my favorite solo Dragon and Ice Golem poisoner as he doesn't need any sort of regen gear.

Mordecai places hp burn affinity isn't an issue. He can put it on through poison cloud, but other than than that he doesn't bring any damage to the table.

One thing you didn't mention is Teumesia is placing the HP burn, so it goes thru the poison cloud, completely negating it. I love Teusemia in nightmare hydra!

Occult brawler places 4 turn poisons on a random target with his passive. against bosses like dragon/clan boss he can almost fill the debuff bar. also has a self cleanse, block revive, and poisons on A1 mean he places more poisons on longer fights than toragi.

So after not getting the gnite fusion when it was around due to not being around, I put him on for the progressive. Pulled 3 of him from 90 shards. In my 4+ years of playing I’ve never had that kind of luck.

I use Corvis, Teodore, Elenaril, and Prince Kymar in my poison combustion team. I use Gnishak Verminlord in ALL of my arena modes, he just melts through stone skin like butter. And when detonated, the poisons are protected and can't be cleansed. I have Artak built in cursed set, and he's cooking the heads on my Brutal team. And I have Walking Tomb Dreng paired with my Godseeker Aniri in my Sand Devil 25 runs.

Pairing Vermin with the high elf exploder is like having a seer. It helps to clear the debuff bar too.

couldn't get past spider 25, now since I got Sulfuryion got to hard 8, he pretty much soloing , so impressive this dude

Man i love corvus, I run him on my dragon and ice golem teams along side dark keal. The combustion from dark keal and the extend from the two of them. It's a sight to behold.

I pulled Corvis early on and I used him everywhere! Before I got an unkillable team, I had corvis leading the way with poisons all the way to UNM. Great champ!

Sulphurion was my first ever legendary void and I use her everywhere! Such a powerful champ and synergizes awesome with ninja in hydra and clan boss. Always healing everyone with hers and ninjas instant activation.

I still use drexthar bloodtwin as a burn champ as his passive allows him to place burns on the hydra even through the poison cloud and on weak affinity. Maybe not as good as others on the list, but his passive doesn't need books to help push damage on hydra. he is available in game from farming 3v3 arena. artak was a login champ, but not anymore so not much use to newer players.

Sulfurion+Tymesia could be a really fun combo! She turns freezes on allies to hp burn and he turns burns into heals!

Elenaril does have a boss damage penalty. they added it like 4 years ago now but never updated her text. I think several of the OG CCs had videos comparing her to zavia and Zavia does more damage due to her books.

Supreme galek, cronham and teela are really great burners Supreme galek got block buffs and decrease speed and instant burn activation Teela leech, continuous heals and hex

Gizmak is a very good burner/exploder . He deserves a shout out. He's got a pretty solid kit.

also i have Sulfurion (ironically i have limited champs compaired to most) but Sulfurion is one of the best in the game, with the HP burn that he ignites, but can revive when things go sideways....he allows me to do spider 10 hard runs in under 20 seconds

Sulfyrion is the GOAT. That turn meter boost makes spider hard EASY. Dont have to get everyone over 250 speed, just need everyone 180+ which is so much easier for a mid game

Kalvalax is SO good! I had 2 of him, so I got World record in Dragon 25 last year. Insane with poisons exploder teams :)

I agree with this list minus missing the Mythicals, but I know that is a touchy subject for some people

I got a guy in my clan who has 3 kalvalax and hasn’t even hit level 100 yet. I’m so jelly. Then again there are 3 of us who have double kymars and there is a guy in my clan who pulls every single 10x for him and has for the last 3 years and still don’t have one… damn luck of the draw I guess… great video Ash! I pulled venomage at my early game and i felt that he’s very underrated that nobody talk about him. I dont have any those poison champions but teodor and venomage. I still use venomage even in hard mode dungeons and Doom Tower cuz if you guys dont have any poison champions and venomage still has benefits in dungeon for stopping IG and his minions (his minions half health gone till IG dead) from healing even fire knight. I use him to run with teodor. Heal reduction and poisons debuff are sweet. I even use venomage everywhere when i need them to stop healing. That’s where venomage comes in the team.

APHIDUS THE HIVELORD is easily the best burner in the game right now!!! A3 instant HP Burn activation, if no HP Burn then applies it for 2 turns on a 3T CD. Then A2 attacks all enemies, before attacking places a 50% increase atk on all allies for 2 turns THEN increases the duration of all enemy debuffs by 1 turn. BAM HP Burn extended for that A3 to come back on. What's even better is his passive, Each time an HP Burn is placed decreases the targets Def by 3% stacks to 30%, each HP Burn on the enemy team increases this champs C. Dmg by 10% STACKS TO 100%, and whenever an enemy HP Burn activates increases this champs Atk by 5% stacks to 50%.... COME ON MAN!!!!! Most underrated Mythical out there!!!

Teodor, Corvis & Kalvalax carried me from early game to start of late game & still use them in some ways in alot of content still today 👌🏻🙂

My arena team is Arbiter, Deacon, Shazar and Warmother. It carried me to, and consistently keeps me in Gold V. (Warmother has no ACC, and still pops Shazar's bombs, as well)

You don't have to worry about affinity on mordecai, at least not for his burn. It's a place, not a hit. I'd also make a case for akemtum for epic poisoner.

i was surprised no Ninja or Crohnam for placing and activating HP burn and no Urogrim for the poisons ))

@ash you should do a vid on top 5 duel dots (like Elanaril who can hp burn and poison) but a vid that showcases the top 5 or 10 duel dot characters

I know you don't have him but I still can't wait for a build guide on sulfuryion got super lucxy pulling him when he had a boosted summon or whatever it was a few weeks ago

Just wanted to let you know Ash, Mordecai does bypass affinity, coz his a3 & a2 don’t hit and they’re the important abilities. He does also bypass poison cloud in hydra which is why I like him abit more than Skraank who is still affected by it

Ha the only Bombers I don't have are Lord Shazar and Astralith! Aoe Bombs are literally the best wave clearing for DT Hard!!! Also don't know how people could hate on War Mother, I built her out with two Fyr-Gun Isbiel's before I got my other bombers and holy melt the other team batman... now I run Gaius, Gnish, and WM together with Lydia and Mithrala or Arbiter to speed run through higher waves in DT Hard! It's just wrong how fast everything dies!

I'm sad Teodor didn't make it he was the first poison/burn/bomb champion I pulled and has carried me through the game. I for sure thought he was going to make it but I guess there's a lot of superior champions 😢

for Corvis, would the passive effect stack if you add another Corvis? have we tested this?

HP burn champs - Gismak the Terrible. Yes, I know he is mythical - but other than Sufyrion he is, by far, the best HP burn champ and its not close

Idk man, Tomb Lord definitely seems like a snub to me. Especially if we're talking about the overall utility/capabilities of the champ. I guess if we're just talking about the poison ability then yeah, there's a few who would be above him. But still. It always felt like he should be one of your favorite champs lol, what with you always going on about decrease speed A1s and how good Stag is with the decrease attack & defence on the same ability.

My only dupe leggo is Astralith. Should I empower or do you think there is a need for 2?

I got Corvis on one of my referral accounts that has had ridiculous luck with pulls and man I wish I had him on my main where I'm sorely lacking a higher tier poisoner for Clan Boss. He would essentially replace Frozen Banshee and Kael for me. I've had more luck with HP burners since I got Mordcai last December who along with getting UDK helped a ton in getting me to progress and finish regular spider, got Crohnam in February, shortly after Dreng popped out of a shard and then last week Ignatius. I feel like Dreng might be the next one I book once I'm done with Scyl who I also only just got a week ago. Now if only I could get another good freeze champ to go along with Neldor.
