It depends on perspective. Personally I'm screenwriter and a fan so I can see both outlooks. It does have more of an authenticity. I believe for one it comes from the actors. They're better then the other shows (although book 2 is my favorite). For two it's based more in queens and has more scenes outside then the other shows if you take notice.realism type shit 😂. It's becoming a soap opera tho. All of them they build u up and drop u damn near episode to episode. Good show tho

On a scale of 1-10 …it’s a 7 in realism …ima a 90’s enthusiast…so the accents can be perfected on the entire cast except the junkies who sound authentic… The wardrobe is decent … I’d still push it a little further Unique wardrobe needs nothing else he’s official Other than that …they do pay attention to nuances 😂 There’s a scene where kanan and famous are in a pizza shop and they use a style of a cup that was prevalent then …white cup with a random purple and blue design …that’s a very small detail they implemented…so I respect the effort they put in over all …I’m glad there aren’t too many lace fronts Not too many fake high tops on the men Ahhh the music They can work on the music 100% It’s all bad ima b g real I was thinkin about how the Five Heartbeats wasn’t a real group but the music sounded authentic and we all believed they were real There was a running theme with 90’s music …sample a old school r and b song and rap over it 50 got money…throw those elements in there …get them to rap ROUGHER …pain …grit Generation x was veeeeery rough and angry I need the Spanish women to sound like Rosie Perez Not gentrified It needs to fully reflect the time…I follow this guy on TikTok who’s Puerto Rican and plays like he’s his mother 😂😂😂he’s veeeery loud and kind of nasal …very passionate and he immediately puts me back in the 90’s …my neighbors…my classmates moms …I even had a classmate who’s mom was very quiet but when she spoke …even though she wasn’t loud she had that New York Puerto Rican no nonsense energy I need that Watch some old New York undercover episodes and get to work 🫡

Nice 30 minute tribute for the sickest Power character ever! Kanan and Unique are the first 2 inductees into the Power Hall Of Fame! Although it is sad to see him go it is absolutely necessary for the advancement of the series. He went out Young and Gifted and didn’t go out on some barely in the episodes mess or getting killed by some random character. Its fitting it was Ravishing Ronnie Rude that took out The Ultimate Unique Warrior. What a great performance for 3 solid seasons! I’m content. Now let Ronnie carry the torch and cause pure Mayhem for the next 2 seasons as the Enigmatic Mystery known as BREEZE🔥🔥

Yes he will be missed as a character. People hate Ronnie now but will love him by then end of Season 5. The character just has to develop and the writers must provide a backstory. No one wants to believe he is Breeze. Some are saying D Whiz' brother, which I won't rule out. But I really believe it's Ronnie based on the descriptions about his character from the original Power and the ruthless killing machines that Ghost, Tommy and Kanan grew to become.
