Venus is like modern-era Courtney with her sass and brutal honesty. Very refreshing to have in the "kumbaya" new era. She is one of the main reasons why this season feels so old-school and character-driven.

Venus was honestly treated so poorly by her castmates. Tevin labeled her as a princess on day one and everyone acted like she was some kind of pot stirrer and liar when the edit shows her as really assertive and aggressive at times and trying to be a bit too sneaky at times but she wasn't a liar nor was she calling in orbital bombardments on people's games the way Q was

From what was described as occurring at Ponderosa, Tevin, Soda, Tiffany and Hunter completely ignored Venus when she arrived at Ponderosa, although Hunter eventually acknowledged her existence. What kind of people ostracize and bully another person like that? Tevin in particular endlessly bad-mouthed Venus, turning people against her during his entire time on the island. It's sad that she has experienced this conduct after being bullied previously in her life. I, like so many other viewers, really enjoyed Venus and viewed her as the heart of the season. I do wonder if some people resented her for the "crime" of being beautiful, smart and confident. Yes, she could stick her foot in her mouth sometimes, but she is a good-hearted person who showed an enormous amount of integrity, honesty and empathy for others, e.g., Liz.

My favorite castaway in a long time. Absolutely love her. The hate she gets makes me so angry. You may not agree with her game decisions, but to call her a toxic person and “deserving” of the way she was treated on the island is just pathetic. Love that she didn’t sacrifice her integrity for the game. She kept it real the WHOLE time 💯

she's not at all a "parvati" but she is a really fun player. She and Soda really should've stuck together because Tevin and Hunter are quick to dismiss her. And imagine what would've happened if Randen wasn't medevac-ed? She was so unlucky in this game but it's amazing how she never cried or felt defeated. I wish she would've pushed Maria more on that last tribal. She's the only real one who can throw fire at tribal. Liz, Kenzie, everybody else are a little passive and will avoid confrontations. Anyway, she's a very fun character and I wouldn't be mad if she gets invited to play again.

almost nothingggg in survivor has annoyed me the way q and maria did at venus' last tribal council. it's just a testament to the fact that no one ever took venus seriously bc of their predetermined impressions of her which ended up constantly overshadowing what she actually had to say. it's probably one of the least important instances of such thing happening to venus, but i feel like it sums up her whole experience this season. i can't believe they didn't even try to listen to her point (a very good one) and just started accusing her of what she would do in a hypothetical scenario and making her out to be the bad guy like always

I think Venus portrayed herself to be blunt and abrasive because she was so scared of being seen as “weak” which is exactly what we see in the first confessional where she is called a “princess” just because of her looks. I definitely think that if that comment was never made her game would have been a lot more different. Additionally after watching this and her post-season interview it is very clear that Tevin and Soda DID disregard her early on, we see multiple times Venus trying to make conversation with both of them and they kinda just shove her aside, while I can understand she can be off-putting by her demeanor I don’t think she realizes it because she is so afraid that she would be perceived as weak if she isn’t blunt and honest. Tevin and Soda didn’t even try to get to know her personally or even try to work through her problems with her they just ostracized her immediately. If they did what Kaleb did with Emily last season the season would have played out completely different but they didn’t even give her a chance which is kinda gross. Also, how they treated her outside the game was uncalled for completely, ignoring someone’s existence even after the game and even after she tried to make amends is so inhumane and disgusting and it makes me have no respect for Tevin or Soda.

People in youtube really appreciated her appearance. But people in fb don't like her and instead bullying her online with harsh comment. I like Venus. Without her season 46 is boring. And I notice, every season of POC castaway make some moves or having a character or making it way too far people in fb or ig will leaving harsh comment towards the castaway. And they adore non poc castaway even if the castaway is so dull without any personality character. For example they say s46 have the best final 3 ever. But for me the dullest final 3 ever. Especially there was Ben and Charlie (who for me did not made such big moves) just made a big moves during maria votes out only. Most of the people that leaving harsh comment is old white grandma, uncle and aunties 😅. Im sorry

Honestly I never paid much attentioin to Venus, she was a target from day one.

Venus’ social game may have been pretty bad. (Somehow she never realized how much she rubbed people the wrong way, or she at least never put in the work to change that at all. For whatever reason.) However, her strategic calls were pretty good for the most part. Especially when she wanted to take Charlie out instead of Moriah. Who knows, had Tiffany and cthe others listened to her, Tiff would maybe still be there. (In her post game interviews, she said that her and Charlie had formulated a p lan to use her idol to blindside Maria. Which is why she didn’t it.) And, who knows, if Mo was there instead of Charlie for Venus’ whole “I’ve got a trick up my sleeve for _next_ week.” conversation, perhaps things would’ve gone down differently this week. If only Venus knew how how to talk to/manage others, she really could’ve been a major threat to win the whole damn thing! Oh well! At least she was still _incredible_ TV!

idk why she's so praised. Venus was very poor socially and was annoying to listen to. She wasn't even good strategically as according to what was shown, Q could've left if she shut her mouth. Like wtf.... you stupidly tell Charlie you have some sort of advantage, deny you have an idol which was a blatant lie and are cagey about the information. I don't see much logically to like about her and her being part of my partial complexion ain't even gonna cut it for me

Entertaining, but awful social game. Idol hunting day one, not helping build the shelter, complaining about her toe when the tribe was vibing after an immunity win, being super aggressive and blunt, as smart as she was her social skills were not up to par

She may have been entertaining but I honestly could not stand her because her attitude felt delusional and annoying most of the time. She thought she could see right through people when in reality she was the real dumb player imo. Hopefully this experience taught her to have better self awareness because that was both her problem and her downfall.
