I love my Traxxas 8s Xmaxx I drove it yesterday at my track and bashed it in my field. It’s an absolute animal that keeps going no matter what obstacles are in its path. Keep up the innovative work. Ps I am ordering an ultimate desert truck, fox shocks orange!

As long as you have a big area or custom course like mine, otherwise it's a quick way to trash one lol Best video I have ever seen was to use epoxy and drywall tape to make the body (said frame at first) indestructible, truly indestructible! Then follows WD-40 or something similar with the number 90 something, makes your parts flex to the extreme without breaking like they normally would! That is where the frame comes in and why I don't use aluminum parts on anything I use to jump. All it costs is about $8 to do it to any RC car or truck. I've folded mine in have testing a chassis and it popped right back!

Nice, in PA I’m patiently awaiting warmer days.... have the Fox-UDR preordered, cant wait! My Slash 4x4 ultimate oba & X-Maxx waiting in garage batteries ready, to damn cold to go out. This winter I transitioned my old Slash 4x4 To a monster fusion, 2.8 trencher beast. When do the Desert Racers arrive at dealers? Send them!

I just ordered one yesterday and can't wait to get my hands on this hugh beast. Also already Ordered New tires and aluminium parts for it :). Spend well over 1800 euro for all of this xD and will spend more next month when payday is.

I wonder if they will make another version of the Xmaxx to correct the flaws with the 8s and 6s? The truck is a beast but it still has a few weak points!! I still love it tho..

the only flaw with the 8s is its VXL-8s esc, people have had bad luck and have switched it to a hobbywing max 6. Traxxas should partner with hobbywing and make the best RTR X-Maxx available.
