Versatile lures are nice but they catch everything, so if going for specific fish the baits/etc are "better." As they usually don't catch everything, so depending on luck the lures can slow rates of what you want down at times. But it comes at a cost compared to the Versatiles cheapness, so if getting good rate the lures are great but sometimes the baits/etc are just nicer to use.

Simple macro /ac "Cast" /e "2" /e "4" /e "6" /e "8" /micon "Cast" Etc as long as you want to count for

it doesn't really need it. They already tune the fishing reqs based on the 1 weapon and gear, you're getting 35 extra gp just from the gig. The only thing we'd really gain from this is another thing to spiritbond, but we'd trade that with another thing we'd need to craft and meld every tier. Don't think it's worth it honestly.

@@FaelonZ spiritbond is the main reason I want it - because assuming you do the “gain spiritbond thing” in equal proportions among all three gatherers, the other two gatherers get about 10% more materia (i’m sure I’m oversimplifying - maybe there is a fisher method of getting more spiritbond than the other two?). Second is my ocd about fisher max ilevel always being lower than max ilevel for the other two gatherers. It’s just something that bugs me and i’m sure I’m not the only one, even if it’s not a big big deal. A guy can have wants ;)

@@benmorrow1701 the ocd thing I understand. But the spirit bond thing is kind of not a concern since you rarely build much with fisher anyways. Like you gotta fish a lot of fish to spirit bond. And having one less thing sure that sucks. But the amount you can get per hour with scrips makes up for it by a lot.

Mining / Botany is just flying around timed nodes every 2 hours on this list - www.ffxiv-gathering.com But it will yield around 60% of the amount of doing the video.

Do unspoileds and legendaries in the same route. Get yourself a bunch of hi-cordials and you will have enough GP for the unspoileds and enough for 1 wise use on the legendaries. Combine this with better crowned pie and superior spiritbond pots and you will be rolling in gathering materia. No fisher needed

Make alarms for all the nodes for MNR/BTN, don't need a guide for it. 😛

​@@Frogstoneyjust so you know you can't spiritbond higher than a 5 with gathering. If you just use basic spirit bond potions to get yourself to 5, anything more than that is useless. Save those pies for crafting where there is no limit.

Do the lvl 100 unspoiled, start right when the node spawn, you can use ageless words/Solid reason 2 times if you don't have shit gear, eat Nasi Goreng HQ to boost GP, i get 1000GP. right after you are done with the unspoiled node, pop a Hi-Cordial (if you have done your island they are almost free to buy there). Right after you are done with the node, go strait to the legendary lvl 100 node that has the same spawn timer, collect that without using any skills, just hit it as you are doing it to get spiritbond. then just wait for next unspoiled node to spawn. I do bot/miner and i get more then 500 scrips per hours no problem, and at the same time i get spiritbond with all my gear to make milions of gil at the same time. use spiritbond tincture and fc buff you have and you are golden! I have made about 30mil gil over the weekend without breaking a sweat doing this.
