We bought a '72 Red 1.7 right hand drive conversion in 1997 for $10,000. It was a beauty that wasn't appreciated in Australia, as there were so few on the road.

We had an AMX years ago and someone from Australia flew to LA to buy and then shipped it back to Oz. They didn't convert it though.

Very nice car, nice video. Does anybody remember the Swap Sheet from the 70s? I used to buy it every week for fifty cents, and lust after all the used cars for sale! Cheers from the Finger Lakes!

@@johanboes1He explained it is a dealer option -not factory option. I have had dealer installed A/C unit’s. Authorized to be Installed prior to the car’s first sale. Consider a Mustang C/S(not factory) or a Shelby prepped Mustang. Examples of non-factory mods still “as sold” and not discounted by collectors.

4 cylinder, not a six. No 6 cylinder with a central air cleaner. Had 2 ,73 1.7, 74 1.8 Always wanted to do a one-off with a 928 engine in it' to keep it pure. No LS swap for me

Amazing but the wood dash material and the Porsche badge shifter knob are not original / at least not on any I've owner up here in Canada. Still an amazing peace WOW
