Majkl loves to travel, and when he is on the road, and wants to eat some hearty food, then he stops at a local restaurant and orders gulash with dumplings. Gulash is a great dish, and in this video Majkl shows us how to make an authentic gulash recipe, with detailed instructions how to make bread dumplings.
Gulash Ingredients for 4 people:
500 g lean beef, cut into 3 cm cubes
3 or 4 pieces of bones
4 medium onions (cut unto small cubes)
500 ml of beef stock
2 medium sized tomatoes (cut into small cubes)
1 tablespoon of paprika
3 garlic cloves crushed
1/2 glass of red wine
1/2 tablespoon of majoram
1/2 tablespoon of caraway seeds
1/2 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of butter
Dumplings ingredients for 4 people:
6 buns (ideally one or two days old)
3 medium eggs
250 ml warm milk
1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
1 teaspoon of butter
1 tablespoon of diced parsley
1/4 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg
2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
