If you're going to use these fountains you have to get a very large pot, or the water will shoot out onto the ground emptying the pot of all the water and burning the motor up, or plan on filling the pot every hour or two!!

Using the frisbee is brilliant! I’ve been using plastic planter holder things or a shallow plastic plate. The frisbee is so much better and I like the idea of the frisbee design underneath. Great fountains too! Okay - everything was great!

That metal sun I would've glue some color stones or gems around it's face where the little divots are at. A couple years ago I was going to make a three tier water fountain and put fake flower / plants in it with a sand pad and make a little grome village. I got them black oil pans in the auto part in the dollar tree to use. I already had a bird bath so I was going to use as the main base and build up. I think it would've turned out nice but I had to move before I could do it. But don't forget the useful items in the auto section there as well. Blessings!

I love bird baths. I have an antique concrete one in my yard for several years now and I finally ordered a pump for it. You inspired me to get up and do something about it. And I’m going to make one similar to yours. My family have always fed the bird just about all year long and they have bird baths so time to get mine up and running. My dad planted Sunflowers all around our house and in his garden so that we could feed the birds all year long. They love Sunflower seeds but they do leave the shells. Janice

Hi Jamie, I totally love your projects. The fountains and the bird feeder are my favorites. Anything to do with Fountains and feeding the birds gets my attention. Great job. There are no DT plus sections in the stores that I go to in Canada, so I will have to look at our Dollarama or at Walmart.❤

I bought and used the first solar fountain from Amazon last year and loved it! I don't really know if birds used it, but I know my cat and my next door neighbor's cat used it when they were outside. We live in New Mexico, so it's always hot and dry in the summer. I like all of your diy's.

Hey Jamie... this was so cool. I remember seeing a gal who had quite the garden and hummingbird feeders all over and sooo many fountains all through her yard and the birds did love them. Re the bird feeder ... with the holes did the seed's fall out? I had out up a bird feeder and the birds knocked some out and one day I noticed a mouse there. So I stopped putting seeds out. Have you had any problems? Thanks for all your tips.

I heard him say Amazon and none of the ones he linked are that same one. I'm looking for that exact one. Most don't hold a charge so you don't get that night time effect. That's what I'm iso. I'll keep looking lol
