Wear gloves!!! Oxalic acid is really bad for your skin!! Also, try the silver can, for pots and pans. It's even better! And liquid oxalic acid bleaches wood like a charm when doing restorations 😊

Some have told us it works great. Others said it did not. I think it depends on how bad and also the texture on the bottom of the pan. Let us know how it does for you

On man I just used a sponge to to it instead of steel wool and it took forever

Steel wool , or a scrub pad like scotch brite works best .

as long as it works, sponge is better, no scratches. Scratches eventually will damage paint job on things like stove grates/pan.

What's the difference between Commet and Bar Keepers?

Comet is bleach (technically cyanuric acid, which is a component of bleach), and BKF is oxalic acid, which is primarily used for removing rust and other stains on metals. Short version: Comet is good for scrubbing and bleaching, and BKF is good for stubborn stuff on metal and non-porous surfaces

No… just dirty. Glass top stoves seem to get them dirtier than the old coil ones. Everything that is on the surface burns to the pan

It’s abrasive.. not like comet… but rougher than softscrub. Safe on cookware (although I would not use it on Teflon.
