Tips to shine during a performance review:
• Highlight the highlights - Boast gracefully and keep the attention on what you have done, as opposed to what other colleagues may not have.
• Be objective and formal - Use specific facts, figures, and dates as much as possible.
• Don’t use the review as a bargaining chip - Save salary discussions for a more appropriate time.
• Suggest specific improvements - Offer ideas to help improve your performance.
• Solicit feedback from coworkers - Positive feedback from others adds a layer of validity to your review.

At 0:29, the so called "expert" in performance review interrupted the host before he could even complete his sentence! That's definitely A BAD START for any conversation, not to mention one that's important to any employee. My mind couldn't get over that huge mistake... and I didn't bother to listen further... Review conversations are like most respectful and meaningful conversation... the idea is to respect the person speaking, listen to ALL that s/he has to say, and respond accordingly.
