I am 6'2" and over 300, but the Testudo Gen 2 fits perfectly. I love mine so much I ordered a second with the bigger plates in Multicam and always wear the side plates.

I am 6,1” 220 and this carrier fits me perfectly. I received it last weekend and it is definitely worth it.

The testudo fits my 50 inch chest well. However the neck is too narrow.

This is the plate carrier i run since i'm a big fatass. 5'10", 300 lbs and it works for me. Unfortunately everything else fits like a bikini and doesn't cover much in the way of vitals. If you're a bigger guy, def get this plate carrier.

I'm 6ft 1/2in and about 6ft 2in in boots. I also have a somewhat longer torso and broad shoulders. I tend to hover around 225lbs. I think I need the 11x14 plates, which is what I have. I've been looking to upgrade to a better carrier, and this one has caught my eye a few times. Not a lot of options for the 11x14s sadly.

Mason is correct in his analysis. More especially the 10" X 12" plates. I purchased them for some odd reason and they are, in fact, stupid heavy. Ridiculously heavy. To heavy to wear for any amount of time. Stick with the smaller plate or go soft.

I just got in the AR500 ARMOR TESTUDO LITE PLATE CARRIER without the armor as I got a level 4 Monolithic Ceramic & Polyethylene coming in for the wife and I'm trying them to see how they will fit on me. I'm 6 feet tall @ 260 muscular pounds and my issue is my traps are pretty large causing me to run the top velcro straps to near end just so that the vest can be placed where it needs to be other wise overall the rest of vest fits fine and I may have to go with the 11x14 steel plate.. Loos like I'll be hitting a craft store to get some velcro to make them a little longer and also be going with steel plates as they are thinner. AR500 vest are nice and well made and wish that they offered addition velcro.

Im trying to decide on this or the k19 by agilite. I hate how some companies have really good designs, but lower quality and some have great quality and generic designs. The tasmanian tiger mk2 chest rig/ carrier is the future of carriers in my opinion. But I wish ar500 would adopt a design like that, but with a snap quick release like the k19. I have the abdominal armor plate and trauma pad and pouch that it goes in. My question is how do I mount it with those straps through the molle webbing without having the plates constantly swinging. I've had this abdominal armor plate bouncing off my lower stomach for a while. Would love to secure it and lock it down somehow. Any ideas?

Would the Veritas be a suitable fit for someone who is 5'4" 130 lbs or is there a smaller carrier that still fits 10x12 plates? I saw the Freeman is the smallest of the AR500 offerings but it only fits the 9x9 plates.

6'2 260 here, I made the horrible mistake of getting a "normal" sized 511 vest and 10x12 plates. Feel like I'm wearing a child's vest, and only covers 85% of my heart/lungs. Should have done more research on sizing. Seems I need one like this with 11x14 plates. Another 3 month wait time, which sucks. But at least it's incredibly easy to sell my current rig and plates given the current near-apocalyptic state of the world.
