My father had that deck of card for 40 years and then I had it for 6 years and it was great until my mom washed them when I left them in my back pocket.

Ive used these cards for 2 months, used them every day and it fans like still brand new and handles 10 times better than bikes ive been using for 3 days

In your opinion, what is the best Ivory Smooth finished cards? I know the answer will vary from magician to cardistry artists to card collector enthusiasts, just from one person to the another. But, I really want to know your opinion. I hear some people say Aladdin are the best. Others say Fournier 505/ Lee Asher's 605. I just bought a few packs of Aviators for practice, and the question arose. I figured you could answer it better than any one.

I've been using my Rider backs heavily for about 5 months and I can still fan them. plus I live in the UK but instead of ordering them online there's a local shop that sells them for about £1 so I think I got a good deal

It's not stiff because bee cards have a Cambric finish and these cards have an air cushion finish which doesn't have an extra coat

+TheRussianGenius Why not? I don't understand, are beginners supposed to practice with cards that aren't as smooth and flexible as these ones? That sounds rather counterproductive :)

MrSlimfinger Standart bicycles are more then enough for beginners. If a beginner starts out with this deck, they will get used to it, and it'll take a longer time for them to learn the sleight of hand smoothly with both standard and Richard Turner's. If you can do amazing sleight of hand with standard bicycle cards, then you can also do it with this deck in the video. Standart Bicycle playing cards are good for beginners, because they are cheap, and the gimmicks, and gaffed deck you get are made from that quality, and ones you learn sleight of hand on that deck, you will be able to do it also with this deck on the video. If you learn sleight of hand with this deck, you will find it a bid more difficult to re-learn it on the standard bicycle deck.

+TheRussianGenius Thank you for the good and detailed answer! Is it still a good idea to collect this deck while it's still so widely available? For example, I saw a review of the Bee Stingers and became very interested, only to find that they are practically impossible to get hold of online. I didn't think that those were a limited run but apparently so!

Are u right handed? I am right handed but i hold my deck in the left hand. I'm doing that for almost a year now, am I doing it wrong? Should i change my hands and keep the deck in my left hand? Would i become better?

100% plastic cards are the easiest to faro, but they can't spread or fan very well. Actually, anything made by the USPCC is good enough for faro shuffling

you can see it at the side of the box. If it says "The U.S PLAYING CARD CO., its fake. But if it says "THE U.S PLAYING CARD CO. CINCINATTI, OHIO 45212 its real. you can also see the color tone and alot else. theres a video comaparing orginal and fake cards. search it up man.

Plastic last longer, but paper performs better. I think the deck is paper, if you are looking for a good deck tho I would recommend the artifice deck by ellusionist
