Chris, you talk a lot about different decks of cards and stuff related to that. So, can you do a video on the steps it takes to make a deck of cards? I've always wanted to make my own but don't know how. It would help me a lot. You rock.

Okay, did I just watch the origin of the spin? This is a massive landmark video. I came for the puzzles but I've been steadily binging. Knowing that it kinda started here and watching the cumulative knowledge of puzzles form in reverse has been quite intriguing! I don't think this Channel's going to stop going for a while. He deserves it watching how much work he puts into making these things as perfect as he can.

Love the video also I personally have the hanayama square if you like puzzles like this I suggest to get that. They're awesome and fun and also I've used them as a magic trick too

That puzzle still gives me headache! When I was 12 years old my dad gave me that to "kill some time" in our summer cabin and I remember sitting on the floor with that thing in my hand for hours and hours and then one day I opened it and it was an amazing feeling!

I actually figured out the news puzzle by accident. Got so frustrated I basically gave up and started playing around with it, then I spun it and it opened! Love the simplicity of the method in comparison to the complexity of the mechanism.

Love the cast puzzles. European airports are filled with them for passengers to pass the time. This particular one I had oppened some 7 years ago. My most difficult one would be "EQUA"...if i remember correctly

I have a cool puzzle exactly like the one in the vid, and like Chris, I couldn't figure it out! I had to look it up online. Just thought it was really cool how both puzzles used the same physics.

The puzzle original idea was from Leonardo da Vinci, there is a handwritten in the museum of Florence showing this principle applied to what seems to be a little wooden puzzle game! Ideas are contagious and have no time...

I bought ur carpe noctem playing cards and I put them in my only card clip by bicycle and when I took them out the corners of the card clip scratched the tuck case. It turns out the clip was so old that the corner had gotten dinged up and one of the was protruding inward a little. lol

So you are semi correct on that puzzle. I have and love that one. You actually have to flip it after spinning it since the pins will only open all the way if that side of the puzzle is face down. That's what makes it so difficult. Flip it wrong and the pins pop out again on the first side.

I really dig the strip deck. So lucky, those limited release decks are always so sick looking, they're just aren't in my budget. Plus, I'm not that good yet. I'm learning with bikes and I have two packs of monarchs on the shelf for motivation. When my chops are worthy of higher end cards I'll bust em open.

Hi chris ! Im writing thus message with a poor english to say THANKS YOU This night was one if not THE best moment of my life and its in big part beacause of you ! Im a 18years old student and this night i was at somekind of an endparty to celebrate something that doesn't matter. Anyway during the party i have been showing some magic trick and build them into a show for some peoples. Chris! The puzzle that you shown in the end was actually gifted to me by my brother on my 18h birthday back in February and I carry i since then like a talisman of some sort!
