PythonSelkan, I subscribed to you about a year ago when I found you posted a couple hours LONG explanation on parts of the metal gear series. Playing the game and watching your explanations blew my mind. I appreciate your love for metal Gear, and just like you I cannot wait for what they have in store for us next. I’m still watching, great work caring so much!

One of the main reasons I’ve always enjoyed MGS3: Big Boss kills for country. He kills his mentor. He defeated the pain, the fear, the fury, and even the Boss herself , but in the end, he could never “defeat” the sorrow. He is the biggest hypocrite in the series. Despite all that, he’s still the most likeable anti-hero. MGS was a good twist. Was decoy working with Ocelot to defeat Miller(after his vow to make Venom strong against Big Boss-in essence his betrayal of the Patriots)? MGS2 had such a brilliant plot. So many facets-I love the Manchurian vibes. The impact of that game is not lost on me. He somehow knew AI and nanotechnology would rule the world in 2001. MGSV leaves me wanting to storm into outer heaven and put Venom out of his misery(whether known or unknown) I lost loads of respect for Ocelot when he agreed to help Zero kill Venom by damning him to being Big Boss’ decoy. One of the most villainous acts in the entire series. His loyalty to Naked Snake was HIS downfall. There were always three Big Boss-the legend and the guys. The guys were jaded, lost and brainwashed. The legend was largely built by another man, Venom/Arab/ who’s real name is lost to history.

Please do a video on Miller's death and the events that led to MGS1. I know I requested before but I really want to see it for real for real

MGS2 was an expansion of MGS. People tend to forget, that MGS story played a vital role and was incorporated into MGS2 story.

I've only played the 3 and the 2, ordinaly first the mgs2 demo only tanker, mgs3 and finally mgs2 complete. This is what makes me feel invincible

that's the silliest plot twist tbh, to begin with, all the plot of MGS2 was to make a reflection of post-modernism in out society and the danger of information spreading that fast as we can see, for me it seems that it was never the intention to continue the history and the end of MGS2 let it pretty clear with that stuff of the 12 people being dead 100 years ago, you were manipulated, you didn't know the truth and you will never know it because maybe there is no truth. However, since people wanted more, the next games were directly to other point and they even make MGS2 feel weird compared to the following games

I was 9 years old when I beat this game. It’s one of my favorite plot twists of all time. It was so well done. I remember being in complete shock and it sucked because none of my friends were MGS fans and I had no one to talk to about what I’ve just saw lol

I like it when he screams. He's the only one in the entire franchise that sounds properly furious, take for example the moment when he kills Gray Fox

@@JayJay-nr2gk the funniest part is that technically Miller's real voice was modeled after Liquid's impression of him, and Robin Atkin Downes just happened to sound exactly like that with his natural voice I'm not sure if any interview mentions this, but it must be the case

@@ertugrul2265 actually it was the real Master Miller who helped Snake during Zanzibar. Remember too Miller had heat with Big Boss and wanted him dead back in 1984 so 15 years later, he got his wish or so he thought

Whilst for me it felt almost too obvious because of how infuriatingly quiet that venom snake is compared to big boss. He even refuses to say the famous "kept you waiting, huh" line, God dang it!

Colonel and Rose being an AI in MGS2 was crazy the first time playing it.

The Venom Snake stuff, I personally don’t like but it still gets too much stuff but its still cool and covers up a plothole from the MSX games

Oh man, MGS4 hit so fucking hard back in the day. I had to wait for a long time to finally play it, because I didn't have a PS3. When I finally got it I was glued to my tv for days until I finished it. I had replayed the first 3 games again and again for years at that point. Seeing the end of the story was probably one of the most emotional experiences of my life at that time.

@@neoshenlong pretty similar for me, I ended up buying an used ps3 years later just to play mgs4 since there weren't ps3 emulators for pc. Such a great game, the shadow moses section hits so hard

Sorry to spoil it if you didnt know, But he dies at the end of the first metal gear on MSX. But i wish it to be explored a little more. Im pretty sure there is a twist there too, i dont think Venom will want to kill Big Boss son. Poor Solid played the unknowing pawn a lot.

I was seriously hoping for a METAL GEAR SOLID 6 set in 1994, one year before the events of METAL GEAR for the MSX. Make it Venom Snake focused. His final mission before his demise.
