Ever since the first time I played Pokémon Emerald back in 2005 this theme felt so emotional and nostalgic. It's unlike any other melody in this or any Pokémon game, like they designed it specifically to sound nostalgic, to sound like home. A home you can always come back to, and where you will always be welcome and loved.

I can listen to this anthem for hours. I am now 30 years old. Happy in my life. My first pokemon game was Ruby. I remember that i play this game for hours. After defeating Flannery at the 4th gym i didn’t know what to do? I remember that i trained my Machoke to level 78. I was bored of it. So i passed the gym of Norman. Yes, indeed i beat him easily. This game will be for me the most nostalgie. I love the anthem. When i feel bad in my life i search this songs and think about my younger years. Time flies. Stay safe everyone. I love Pokemon, i love Ruby and it has a special place in my heart. Thanks for uploading this.

If your saying this is pathetic then why are you listening to it? We all came here either due to a past Pokémon memory or just for the nostalgia, your over here thinking your interesting and allat. I'm 18. Videogames were always a part of my life. We didn't use to have any Nintendo consoles, we had PlayStations PSPs and Vitas. Recently I started collecting Nintendo handhelds and just out of curiosity wanted to try Pokémon games for GBA since I already own the 1st gen games. And man.... when this music started playing... though I couldn't experience this game as a kid, the memories from my childhood started flowing in... I had tears in my eyes. It's such a happy nostalgic tune. Truly one of the best GBA songs ever composed. Beautiful.... ❤ I miss being a kid.. Everything was so much easier... Those times are gone, but they were wonderful

i never played gen3 as a kid , only heard this song for the first time playing the romhack pokemon perfect emerald for a friend half a year ago , so not only is this beating other pokemon nostalgia but it's doing so without any of it's own , i think this may (lol unintentional pun) be the best hometown theme , the emotions it feels it's trying to play make me want to respond with tears......
