Have you tried the portable induction table top burner? That's what I have been using when I have power... We are looking into getting a generator or hackery but I LOVE my portable induction stove. Boils water in under a minute!

Hi Rainey! No, we haven’t looked into a portable induction table top burner. I was trying to keep the wattage at 1000 W or less, and didn’t want to have to buy any new pots or pans. I was also wanting to make a minimum investment, so I’m not sure how much the induction ones cost?Perhaps our pots would work on induction, and maybe the induction is under 1000 watts? It would be interesting to know if it is or not.

Hi !!! Have you tried something else besides boiling water ?? I bought the bluetti power bank, so im trying to find good quality appliances with 1000w max. Thanks for doing this video and saving us some time and money.

I haven’t tried boiling other things yet. You should be fine with the bluetti if using on Medium setting.

Hi! Have you tried cooking things? Would you still recommend the elite flat surface now? I have a jackery 1000 and am looking to do the same thing. I want to be able to cook inside my van without any issues.

We had no issues when we cooked on these products. They’re not as fast as a residential stove top but they get the job done when traveling.
